Captain... Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Fitness is a huge priority for Nige, look at the Albrighton piece, he was second fittest at Villa and is now 10th fittest at Leicester, the medical will test his fitness and if his legs are gone then he will not pass the medical and Nige will say no. I trust Nige to only sign players with the right ability, the right attitude and the fitness and dedication to maintain their physical condition. It is no surprise that we had very few injuries last season.
weller54 Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Yet now, we have Vardy, Knocky, Albrighton and Upson all injured BEFORE we start!!!...
dylanlegend Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 We've obviously been watching him during last season and if Pearson still thinks he's got it who are we to disagree he's normally spot on with his transfers. Hopefully confirmed soon.
Robin JD Popley Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 As the mood seems a little more relaxed today, we can all revel in the fact Transfer Centre on Sky Sports News have listed BALLOON HEAD on their website. Still my favourite ever Nigel Pearson comment. Also, they confirm the fact De Guzman is wanted by QPR for £7m. Looking more and more likely.
jayfox26 Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 London nightlife again, at his age, is he bothered about that.

weller54 Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 again, at his age, is he bothered about that. Is there a good zimmer frame supplier in Leicestershire?
GLC Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 He had a pass rate of 49.1 passes per game last season with an 83.1 success rate, Also, he averaged 3.3 tackles, 1.8 interceptions and 0.9 fouls per game.
1884Fox Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Could be one of the signings of the season if it happens, which I'm certain it will now.
jayfox26 Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Is there a good zimmer frame supplier in Leicestershire? my point is, im sure hes more bothered about football than going out getting pissed. Hes not 18. And if he did want to go out on the lash, who better to go with than Tony Knockaert
sylofox Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Yet now, we have Vardy, Knocky, Albrighton and Upson all injured BEFORE we start!!!... What has the fitness of a player got to do with injuries. You could be the fittest player in the world it don't stop you getting kicked turning funny or going over on your ankle. Also last season players would have wanted to play on injured Right now they want to get in the best shape possible for the season. So they won't be pushing it as they would in season.

FoxLAD Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 A lot of LCFC pages on Facebook and Twiiter are saying this is a done deal?

sylofox Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 A lot of LCFC pages on Facebook and Twiiter are saying this is a done deal? Maybe a few are going to be upset then. With a high profile player like this anything could go wrong. I'm not getting carried away till it's on the club site or sky show us pics of him signing.

st albans fox Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 That came from someone who could well know. Only passing it on. I've been told today he checked into the Hilton, was at the stadium, and then signed around 10:30 yesterday evening. do players really sign at 10.30 on a sunday evening? i stand to be corrected but i doubt that one can be right. i accept you state that you are only the messanger.

From the clubs point of view, if others are sniffing around you get that contract signed as soon as you can. If that is late on a Sunday night, that is when it gets done.
DanTheFox07 Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 bet someone takes a gamble and get's his name on the new away shirt before he sign's!

If that is late on a Sunday night, that is when it gets done. the signature is generally not important. once the deal is firmly agreed between the two parties (subject to a medical), it rare for it to be reneged on. otherwise, you would never know where you stood on a deal.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 Which Hilton? I will call them now and ask for Mr Cambiasso!
