Vacamion Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Henderson is the Dean Hammond of international football. Brilliant. If we get one we'll get several. The one is the sticking point.
Guest ttfn Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 This is much worse than Estonia. At least in that game we created some chances in the first half. And we were away. We look totally clueless; it's been so long since I saw a team I support score!
VLC86 Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Very good so far... good attacking intent, quick passing liking it Are we watching the same match, Iv just seen at least 30 seconds where the ball was up in the air for 28 of them, dreadful stuff.
Soar Fox Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Fvck this Come Dine With Me has just started.
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Absolutely no urgency whatsoever. It's as if we know the goal is coming eventually so let's just stroll about for now. Just play safe balls all of the time as If they're scared to make a mistake
Vacamion Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Tyldsley needs to FOAD Only if he takes his co-commentator with him. This is dire.
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Clyne is the only one looking to beat a man
ealingfox Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 This really is absolute muck. For all the glossing and bullshitting and everything else we are every bit as shit as we were in Brazil. Hodgson Out for me.
MooseBreath Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 The diamond strikes again. I don't know what managers see in this formation. I've never seen it produce anything other than turgid, insipid crap.
Vacamion Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 The Scots will beat us if we play like this in the week.

Beating Switzerland away in the first game ended our qualifying process; there was no way we could mess it up from there. I'd like to see Hodgson experiment in the qualifiers with some really attacking, creative formations because we have almost literally nothing to lose. Book up all the top sides in Europe over the next 18 months for the friendly dates and use them to play the "proper" team. There are very few sides roughly on England's level in international football at the moment. There are about 8 sides in Europe streets ahead of us and a further 5 or 6 who might go toe-to-toe with us. Everyone else just puts 10 behind the ball; it's a waste of time and energy picking the same team for home games against Slovenia as a Euro 2016 game against Italy, Holland etc.
RowlattsFox Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 It doesn't help that it's being played in a pre season type atmosphere. Hear a pin drop. Incredibly like watching us play at the minute, lack of creativity. Sterling shite, lallana looks ok without ever actually doing anything.

I've never seen it produce anything other than turgid, insipid crap. Liverpool looked good with it last year but that's starting to look more and more like Suarez was basically doing it all single handedly. The front 3 have got to be absolutely everywhere to create chances with it.
Dan Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Sooner games are up and down the country again the better. Considering the number of people in there Wembley must have the worst atmosphere in sport.
Corky Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Game is awful, pitch is terrible, Tyldesley and Townsend need to bugger off.

We've got very few exciting players and the philosophy we play with is so negative
VLC86 Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 WE HAVE HAD A SHOT, it was shit but we did it. Defo going to win the euros. We have scored! YESSSSSSS. Oh ****.
StanSP Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Henderson adds to his shocking game with an own goal.
ScouseFox Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Wow nice what an exciting 2 minutes I had Hendo first scorer better pay me out paddy
