Nalis Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 If the Faroe Islands win, it'll be a fantastic result for Northern Ireland. Yes and yes. I still think Greece will come back to get 2nd somehow. Romania can run away with the group for all I care as long as the teams around us keep taking points off each other.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Iceland, Wales, Slovakia, Poland, England, Romania, Austria, Croatia and Denmark are leading the way in their groups. Early days I know, but wow. World Cup hangovers indeed, England certainly have benefited from not turning up...
RedHux Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Balotelli limps home (no doubt to find it ransacked) with hamstring problems.
bovril Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Iceland, Wales, Slovakia, Poland, England, Romania, Austria, Croatia and Denmark are leading the way in their groups. Early days I know, but wow. And Germany only score 4 against the Rock. Pretty shameful!
Nalis Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 And Germany only score 4 against the Rock. Pretty shameful! Gibraltar are better than Brazil, pretty conclusive if you ask me.
sphericalfox Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Well done to the Scots. Took their chance and took it well. A game full of pace and relentless effort with a level of a Championship game. Scotland have a better team at the minute. I've said it before, but this group will come down to GD.
Asha Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Well done to the Scots. Took their chance and took it well. A game full of pace and relentless effort with a level of a Championship game. Scotland have a better team at the minute. I've said it before, but this group will come down to GD. I doubt it, it's done by head-to-head record this year isn't it? Hence why Germany are currently 2nd despite Ireland having a better GD. And I think it's much fairer that way, than qualifying for a tournament simply because you managed to arsehole Gibraltar a little more than anyone else.
shen Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Brilliant second half by Denmark! Lord Bendtner delivers once again. Schmeichel makes a brilliant reaction save. Oh and the Faroes...just fantastic! First away win in 13 years. http://sporten.tv2.dk/2014-11-15-se-faeringerne-juble-efter-foerste-udebanesejr-i-13-aar
Stadt Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Hahaha geriatric Italian international managers are shit
Rincewind Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 I was looking for the time of the England game. One site had it down as Wednesday 15th November 5pm. As its the 15th today and my sister's birthday I suspect this to be an error.
Super_horns Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Ranieri's gone Be in another job soon enough though.
Bugg Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 England team: 1 Hart 2 Clyne 3 Gibbs 4 Henderson 5 Cahill 6 Jagielka 7 Wilshere 8 Lallana 9 Welbeck 10 Rooney 11 Sterling
Vacamion Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 The pitch looks in poor shape. I mean, I love a bit of NFL, but if churning up the pitch is the only way we can pay for a National Stadium, we are doing it wrong.
foxfanazer Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 England play more hoofball than Leicester!
MooseBreath Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 The pitch is an embarrassment. Play your tinpot throw and run games at Wembley by all means, just move the football to a proper football stadium with a pitch that's fit for purpose.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Very good so far... good attacking intent, quick passing liking it
Guest ttfn Posted 15 November 2014 Posted 15 November 2014 Henderson is the Dean Hammond of international football. Sterling is a poor man's Knockaert At least when England play a diamond they put him at the top of it
