kingcarr21 Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Berahino and Downing have been really good so far this season and have no problem with them being called up. Carrick is still a good player so not surprised hes in there. But come on, the fact Smalling still makes the England squad is a joke. What a piss poor selection of CB's we have at our disposal. Walcott has played 10 minutes of football and is called up to the squad. Great player but seriously??? i guess we can afford to include him as our qualifying group is a walk in the park even for this England team. Still picking Lambert when he hasnt played shows our disposal of strikers is poor also. Good to see Clyne and Gibbs in there also. Both have been consistant players.
kingfox Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Happy to see Downing included deserved due to form, same with Berahino despite how shit he looked against us. Walcott is a key player, so his inclusion isn't a surprise. Chambers & Smalling still remain though, fvck knows why.
Ross-Kemp Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Please Berhaino, Clyne & Downing are included. I'm a little bemused about Walcott being picked, when he's played what, 10 minutes of football, same goes for Carrick & Lambert too.
filbertway Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 International fixtures again? Are these a week on Saturday?
Fox92 Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 International fixtures again? Are these a week on Saturday? Yeah. Weekend 15th/16th next week. That's why we haven't got a game
filbertway Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 Yeah. Weekend 15th/16th next week. That's why we haven't got a game Haha, I barely look forward past the current week. Until Col makes his prediction thread I haven't got a clue what's going on. That's a true fan speaking.
babylad92 Posted 6 November 2014 Posted 6 November 2014 i wonder what vardy must be thinking now if he put in better performances in the last month he would have had the nod for england if berahino (nd lets be honest morgan and was had him in their back pockets) can make it then so can vardy wud be nice to have a leicester player back in the england squad after a long time Please Berhaino, Clyne & Downing are included.I'm a little bemused about Walcott being picked, when he's played what, 10 minutes of football, same goes for Carrick & Lambert too. tbh walcott s class but i agree about carrick
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Picking Rickie Lambert after he's barely played this season, way to shake up the national team set up after the worst World Cup in the nation's history, Roy. Walcott is fantastic but he's coming back from a big lay-off, a few of the lads at Swansea must be wondering what they have to do to get in this team. I know it's impossible to please everybody but these selections are consistently underwhelming.
Grandad. Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 Smalling, Lambert and Chambers have no place in the England squad.
The Blur Posted 7 November 2014 Posted 7 November 2014 i wonder what vardy must be thinking now if he put in better performances in the last month he would have had the nod for england if berahino (nd lets be honest morgan and was had him in their back pockets) can make it then so can vardy wud be nice to have a leicester player back in the england squad after a long time tbh walcott s class but i agree about carrick One swallow does not make a whole summer.
isaidno Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 I'm gonna watch Scotland vs Ireland tonight. Germany should get double figures vs Gibraltar
RedHux Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 I'm gonna watch Scotland vs Ireland tonight. Germany should get double figures vs Gibraltar I'm off to the San Siro Sunday eve to watch Italy vs Croatia. Should be a belter, despite Balotelli!
Vacamion Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 Glasgow was chock full of Oirish today. I walked across the city centre at just after 10.30 am and there were already green shirts in the pubs... In other news, there's a football game going on. I want Scotland to win but think it'll be an Ireland victory.

Ross-Kemp Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 If the Faroe Islands win, it'll be a fantastic result for Northern Ireland.
Fox42 Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 Iceland, Wales, Slovakia, Poland, England, Romania, Austria, Croatia and Denmark are leading the way in their groups. Early days I know, but wow.
Finnegan Posted 14 November 2014 Posted 14 November 2014 The Faroes win. Away. Against 2004 winners. lol
