Andy King Power Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Away at a Premiership club with four big players missing (Liam Lawrence surely has to be as good as it gets for them?) and you think your going to win 3-1. This is justified by the fact that we've not won after two games (Everton at home, Chelsea away) Fair play if it happens I suppose but I really don't see it. You're forgetting the fact that we haven't won against them for more than 26 years! They've clearly got the wood over us! I sure hope Nigel's got something up his sleeve against this very tricky opponent.
veezeeblue Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Got no chance tonight, Stringer job or go to the game I'm afraid. long flight wont make it to KP ... so i´ll have to put up with "Strings" I guess cheers
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 what a lemon. They may well beat us tonight but our results in our first two games aren't the reason why. Yes obviously is a bit of drip. Hence why he has Hammond down as joint leading goal scorer Can't see them winning, unless we role a complete set of stiffs out.
Finnaldo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Can't see them winning, unless we role a complete set of stiffs out. Do we have time to loan out the Bolton squad?
MHC Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Didn't know Liam Lawrence was Shrewsbury captain. He was playing for Stoke in the Premier League not so long ago.
The Doctor Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Are tickets likely to be available on the gate. Reckon I fancy going to this.
ealingfox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Alright let's not take the piss with the young Foxes. Shrewsbury aren't some non-league part-time outfit. Lose this and then lose Saturday and the morons will start to turn on the team and sharpen their knives. Play 4 at the absolute most. We're in the Prem now, winning domestic cups is about as high as we're going to achieve so let's not be reckless.
EGBFitness Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 To be fair, not really interested in the cups this season. Nice to see a good cup run and see city win but would rather be focusing on Arsenal than Shrewsbury
marklcfc71 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Anyone know what time ticket office closes for game tonight? Giving it a chance and going down anyway
bovril Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 As ealingfox so rightly said, let's not be reckless. It would be nice to get our first win of the season with some of our squad getting off the mark.
ealingfox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Would anyone going be so kind as to chant "SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY" for the whole 90 minutes? When the Arsenal fans did that they got Ozil.
bovril Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Team: Hamer Pearson Konch Moore Was Knocks Mahrez Cain Watson GTF Wood
OLD norfox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Subs: Smith, Morgan, King, Schlupp, Hopper, Barmby, Nugent
RowlattsFox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Surprised to see konchesky play, thought he'd be the obvious choice for a rest. If was was leaving then i wouldn't have thoughts he'd play. Stronger than I thought, be interesting to see how centre midfield works. Always thought Watson was a winger, unless we're going to see Knocky or Mahrez in the middle.
MHC Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Surprised to see Konchesky, Moore and Mahrez starting. Morgan, King, Schlupp and Nugent on the bench too, I was convinced Morgan and King would be given the night off for this one. I reckon this means Pearson is saving Albrighton and Vardy for the starting line up against Arsenal.
