foxfanazer Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Would like to see Pearson, Barmby and Hopper given a game
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Fiver for me then. Sound. How'd you do that? If Cain doesn't get a game tonight he never will. One things for sure I'm not paying £15 to watch his sons attempt to play right back. Pay a tenner then.
Andy King Power Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbrNXa930DQ Worth the entry fee alone. Indeed. What a corkin' shot! Would be nice if Junior was anything like his dad. Could be another Steve/Alex Bruce combo?
Livid Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I can't make my mind up. It's the rigmarole of getting home that is bothering me more than anything, that and the abuse from the gf. Undecided a mate at work will go but only if I do. They weren't contemplating it until I mentioned it. Still feel knackered after the weekend, weather is poor, like you say hassle of going home and coming back into the city for a game with one stand open, little atmosphere with our second string turning out for us. A part of me still wants to go! My wife would be glad, she gets a evening alone without me moaning about the RL commentary. Going to be a late decision.
lgfualol Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Hamer Pearson Wasyl Sesay Young LB Albrighton Cain McCourt Schlupp Hopper Wood
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Obviously hope we win but this game hasnt been well remembered by me, not the most important fixture! Didnt know Wesolowski was there now, shame how injuries ruined him here really
ollielcfc Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Hamer Pearson Wasyl Sesay Young LB Albrighton Cain McCourt Schlupp Hopper Wood Isn't Sesay on loan at Colchester atm? EDIT: Apologies, that was last season...
surrifox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 hopefully we will treat this with a modicum of seriousness - we have had some great moments in this competition in the past and we deserve to show it some respect. We have an additional day to recover for the Arsenal fixture so would hope that if things are not going well by about 60 minutes we could put some first teamers on and try to win it.

Start with some fringe players and bring in first teamers if needed
Illusion35 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Would have been great it was included in season ticket. I'm sure the first round of cups was included 'back in the day'!
LCFC FOX Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Hamer Pearson Wasyl Kennedy Sesay McCourt Cain Albrighton GTF Hopper Wood Smith, Moore, Schlupp, King, Panayitou, Blyth, Nugent
GingerrrFox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 The amount of people screwing about watching this game for £10-15. It's less than a ****ing round at a pub with your mates.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Hamer Pearson Was Sesay Kennedy Knocky Cain McCourt Barmby Wood Hopper Play all the young lads. Save players like Schlupp/Albrighton as they are important players for the run in coming up. So it's not really worth risking them for a pointless cup game. I'm sure Kennedy can play as a left back Aswell? Would prefer if we lose tonight & give the young lads more experience, then concentrate on the league.
Stadt Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Chilwell the 17 year old left back is supposed to be very good isn't he?

Why not win with our youth as well and set up another opportunity to so? Would be a good sign if we could.
Captain... Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 It depends if players are knackered or not, they shouldn't be but then 2 games in the prem is a lot different to 2 games in the champ. I would expect Albrighton to start as he needs games for fitness, and Knocky, Was, GTF and Hamer could all benefit from a run out. I wouldn't want to make any more changes though a win is important for the first teamers, and goals for players like Nuge and Mahrez would give them a lift bring on the kids when the match is won.
veezeeblue Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Just hope no one get hurt ! we cant afford any more injuries to our squad.
C-man Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Anyone know how many Shrewsbury have shifted? They've had a decent start to the season, I've noticed. Need a win to get us up and running - Knocky, Nugent, Wood, Albrighton, Moore, Wasyl, Schlupp, Hamer all to start if it was up to me. Fill in the gaps with youth.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Pearson will make a lot of changes as stated in his sky interview
veezeeblue Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 anyone found a stream yet ? (nothing on wiziwig)
Ric Flair Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Chilwell the 17 year old left back is supposed to be very good isn't he? Yes he is.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 anyone found a stream yet ? (nothing on wiziwig) Got no chance tonight, Stringer job or go to the game I'm afraid.
FoxInBlue Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I found this on the Shrewsbury website, http://www.shrewsburytown.com/fixtures-results/match-preview/index.aspx?matchid=3769721 Now, I was at the Everton game and I'm pretty sure you pronounce the name of our second goal scorer as Chris Wood, not Dean Hammond. Even if it had been Hammond, wasn't his first goal for us against Wigan(?) last season? I would have thought the research for these little head to head things would be fairly easy but some tit can't even get this right!!

Away at a Premiership club with four big players missing (Liam Lawrence surely has to be as good as it gets for them?) and you think your going to win 3-1. This is justified by the fact that we've not won after two games (Everton at home, Chelsea away) Fair play if it happens I suppose but I really don't see it.

They may well beat us tonight but our results in our first two games aren't the reason why.
