Knocker has to learn this season more (and faster) than most. I think he is one of our more immature players (that's from a football perspective). However, I also think he has more than enough in his locker to be a strong asset for our squad and starting line up once this process is well under way.

Because they can't find anything bad I've said in the past year. I'll just let them continue to suck Knockaert off, so many fans completely blinded by his 100% efforts & looks, and completely ignore his many flaws in his game. You talk about players being no good have you ever played at a standard other than with your little brother in the yard.

Young Anthony has pickled himself quite the gherkin here, and I think I know the only suitable method for atonement : he needs to suck off Englbert Humperdink whilst having Rustie Lee shout moral support. After he's done the duty he's to swallow his 'pride' and then make a full, frank and honest apology to the entirety of Leicestershire and neighbouring counties. After fifteen minutes of grovelling and crying he has to allow Nigel ****ing Pearson give him a Glasgie Kiss. This is to be filmed and played before every game this season, to Republica - Ready To Go, whilst it is playing Knockaert is to stand in the middle of the pitch kissing the badge repeatedly whilst the city support lob french sticks and snails at him telling him to '**** off you ignorant foreign bastard'. I think that'll learn him to open his trap.

Very Niave of Knockeart but at his age probably expected. If he is saying that he wants to play in the Premier League with Leicester and progress further to sign for a big club, then fair play to the lad. There's nothing wrong with having ambition. Lets face facts, we're no Man City or Chelsea and will never be, and if it's done right we can make a few quid off the deal.
inckley fox Posted 9 September 2014 Posted 9 September 2014 At worst it's both naive and egotistical; it's true that we're unlikely to reach the heights of Chelsea or Man City anytime soon, but then again neither is Knockaert. If he believes he can use us as a 'springboard' then he should keep that to himself and focus his efforts on establishing himself first. He has ability but will have to become a far more intelligent player than he has thus far shown signs of becoming if he wants to be a fixture in our first team, let alone anyone else's. I suspect this would be Pearson's concern, that he is getting a bit too far ahead of himself. It could, of course, be a misquote. But it's unlikely that he didn't use the word 'tremplin', and there's no doubt that this word has the same significance in French as the word 'springboard' in English. I remember Kaamark saying all of our players were drunkards and then claiming it was a mistranslation, only to do another interview a few months later saying much the same. O'Neill said he'd given him the benefit of the doubt against his better judgement the first time, but there was no hiding the second. After that Kaamark's days were numbered. So Knockaert may have to tread very carefully from here on in.

Any interviews at 3rd person journalism should be taken with a pinch of salt (mixed with powder). If knockky did get upset not being regular 1st choice, its up to him to change it, the fans and NP have shown he has time. Yes I believe he is worth it, you could say he has that bit of 'je ne sais quoi' about him.
