LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 19 September 2014 Share Posted 19 September 2014 I have never sat down at an away game, been all this year and 10-15 per year the past couple of years
Leicesterpool Posted 23 September 2014 Share Posted 23 September 2014 At the end of day you can't force somebody who wants sit to stand. Same problem vice versa easier solution is simply have a standing and sitting area, but that of course will probably never happen at premier league level. This argument will go on for a long time. DennisNedry Posted 23 September 2014 Share Posted 23 September 2014 I've never sat an away game and have never had any hassle from stewards or ever been told to sit down by other fans. Although 90% of the time I'm towards the back just through chance for some reason.

LCFC FOX Posted 24 September 2014 Share Posted 24 September 2014 I've always stood at football games since going with my mates. Home and away. I just don't think I would enjoy it as much sitting down weirdly.

ashfosse Posted 25 September 2014 Share Posted 25 September 2014 the stoke game had good numbers of standers. so did chelski away by the looks of it. I think our season in the prem could help us here in seeing more standers at away games. WYS
Monsell1976 Posted 3 October 2014 Share Posted 3 October 2014 Never had an issue with standing at away games, until I went to shitty palace, on this occasion if you had tickets higher up, you could see next to **** all when people stood up. The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 October 2014 Share Posted 4 October 2014 There's two ways to go about this. Move, or ask the people behind you to swap unless you're in front of some complete idiots who must "sit in the seat they've paid for". Exactly. It's not hard

LCFCFOX6190 Posted 5 October 2014 Share Posted 5 October 2014 Do we have a higher percentage of old people who go to away games than other teams? At Palace there were quite a lot near the front, not a complaint just an observation.

To be honest we do have quite a lot of elderly supporters, usually see them getting of the Woods coaches with flasks of tea in their hands. Bless. Move, or ask the people behind you to swap unless you're in front of some complete idiots who must "sit in the seat they've paid for". I personally would prefer to stand but sometimes sitting just shows some respect to other fans. As an example I've seen people standing and then a family behind them with a young girl had to constantly strain there heads to try and see the game. These people have paid a good amount of money for a day out so if you are going to stand come what may then go to the back. Otherwise it is pure selfishness,
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 6 October 2014 Share Posted 6 October 2014 It's always made me laugh how even when everyone is sitting down, as soon as the ball gets anywhere near the final 3rd (at either end) everyone kind of half stands up anyway! Kitchandro Posted 13 October 2014 Share Posted 13 October 2014 Let's be honest, it looks pretty shit and small time when you look at an away end and people are sitting. All the big clubs have all standing away ends. It's certainly something we should be aspiring to.
Dan LCFC Posted 15 October 2014 Share Posted 15 October 2014 We have far higher numbers of standing nowadays IMO. Didn't see any sat at Palace though you could forgive them for doing so on the back row could hardly see
