Players like Ander Herrera, Schurrle, Victor Moses, Nathan Dyer, Wayne Routledge. They barely use skill moves in real life. Hell even Anthony Stokes has 4* skill moves.

I find a good in between is to play on World Class but adjust the sliders Thanks for the replies, I am still plugging away. I play career mode, started in the bottom division at Shrewsbury and gained promotion easily playing on professional, with promotion and upping the difficulty to world class I have found the game frustratingly difficult, I am currently sitting 7th in February. I win and lose a few but have had loads of 0-0 results, finding it difficult to create chances let alone score. I adjusted my sliders although the adjustment was different to the ones recommended above and still found it very tough. After 5 consecutive 0-0 results I am a little fed up with the game. I don't want to drop back to professional as I found it easy ( I did this and won 4-1) I find the opposition so damn difficult on world class, whoever they are!

I have noticed over the years that these have become very complex games and less just tackle, pass and shoot.l I liked it that way, I am a purist. However, times change and I must adapt with them but I am having some difficulty with a few bits and need you lads help. 1. Why does my player just stand waiting for the ball when I pass to him, how can I make him move to the ball? So many interceptions and you can see them happening almost in slow motion. 2. Why when they chip it through the middle do my defenders all sod off out the way or have already moved so far up the field leaving gaps? I have even gone to the player instructions and told them to stay back always. 3.If a player is running at full pelt is it just luck if you anticipate and guess the right way he will go to tackle because when I slow down to try to jockey him, he just rushes past and I'm left in the distance? 4.How can I set it so that as I change player to control, I can get this to happen quicker and also select players that have a chance of actually getting to the ball instead of ones on the opposite side of the pitch? I'm sure I have so many more questions but they only come to me as I'm playing and getting annoyed. Any help would be gratefully received. Cheers Gudjy

If you switch player, it should switch to the one you are passing it to if you do it just after you pass, you can then collect the ball if it's short 2. Chip through the middle is one of the best ways of scoring in the game, it's difficult to defend and yes your defence will just stand there and ball watch. This is just part of fifa, and has been for years now. 3. It's completely down to yourself to defend against people running at you full pelt, I think once you get a hang of switching players properly you'll be able to defend against this better. 4. Go to Settings > Basic Controls and change the button layout to whatever you like, switch player is one of the options. I usually have it assigned to L1. Switch player automatically switches to the player closest to the ball, or closest to where the ball will land. Also 'X' closes players down, you should be holding 'x' pretty much the entire time you are trying to defend, there is also a button for making one of your other players close down (teammate contain), which is also really helpful, but can pull players out of position.

Dan Posted 7 January 2015 Posted 7 January 2015 Finally got this. Same as every year. Potentially decent game ruined by the fact EA Sports are so pathetic they can't even get the absolute basics right. Why is my game constantly lagging? I never had this problem on 14.
