Is There "Anything" We Are Happy About?

Recommended Posts

Just seems at the moment no one is happy about anything to do with our club.

The manager

The team

The team picked

The formation

Tactics

And just about every player has come in for criticism over the last few weeks.

Starting to wonder if people are happy we won promotion last season.

With all the moaning it makes me wonder if people would rather we had just missed out last season.

Things are not good ATM but perhaps like the manager and the players we all need to stand up and be counted.

Perhaps if we started doing a little better (stop moaning) our team and manager may do better for us.

just to add a couple more.

The ground is to big

To small

The parking

No balti pies

Moving games for TV

To many games on TV

International breaks

Sorry that was Several.

Need your head checked if you would have preferred to not win the League. Especially how we did it, with all those records broken.

In all seriousness though I'm still loving being in the prem. I don't like all the negativity but I accept that with defeats there will be criticism. I'm not one for overreacting at either end of the scale but ultimately I'm an optimist. We've seen what this team and this manager can do, it's just time we started doing it again.

I witnessed the best match of my life against United. Absolutely fvckin brilliant. Will stay with me forever, regardless of what happens for the rest of the season.

Agree with what you say foxfanazer.

Just think if 90% were behind the team as against it as it seems atm we may see an improvement.

Do we really want it so the players don't want to play at home.

Like they must have felt 2 seasons ago.

People say they are pro's so it should not matter and they get paid shite loads for it.

Well if it don't affect them explain Vardy and Drinky at the start of last season.

Get off the players backs and do what you call yourselves support our great team.

I wouldn't say I'm happy but I'm glad we don't have balti pies. I had one at Southampton and they're no way near as nice as I remember. People overrate players when they're out of the team, maybe people are doing the same with balti pies now they're off the menu.

Our fans were pretty good for the majority of the game at Southampton.

What about when they sarcastically applauded King's shot?

The fans had been superb up to the second half of the Burnley game, but as a few errors slipped into our game you could tell in the stands that there were some grumbles, and mistakes got louder groans than cheers for good play. The pressure seemed to build on the pitch and in the stands. It was weird, it was like we all knew it was coming. I think it probably shocked a few players that there were some boos, remember some of these players have had a fractious relationship with the fans in the past, Drinkwater and Konchesky spring to mind, and both have been seriously under performing since then...

Doesn't take much in this way for passes to become snatched causing repeated loss of possession, mounting the pressure even further until it becomes an ever decreasing circle.

Hopefully we score in the first 15secs next time out before the atmosphere becomes poisonous & not conducive to what everyone wants us to achieve

**** the Premier League, the lack of midweek games is a shitter

It really doesn't help as it takes so long for players to have a chance to rectify any poor performances, it also feels like there have been lots of international breaks too, so any momentum is easily lost.

Last season a poor game and you get another game in 3 days to put it right, in the prem you get a week of constant analysis and criticism and not just in the club and from the fans, but from the national press and media too. It is only 4 games, but it will be six weeks on Saturday since our last goal, now that is a depressing thought.

That wasn't us, that was Southampton after we'd been sarcastically cheering them whenever they had a shot after "scoring" a disallowed goal. And if it was any Leicester fans, it needs to be seen in the context of banter with Southampton fans rather than having a go at the team.

It's nice to have a season in the Prem and see some of the big teams, but I think I prefer the Championship. Not only do we get more matches for our money, but its a far more exciting and honest league and much less predictable than the EPL. Plus I prefer the chase of promotion to the premier league, rather than actually being in it. We will only ever be mid-bottom table relegation battlers in the premier league with nothing really to aim for other than staying up. I wouldn't be too arsed if we went down.

Probably get shot down for this but I really couldn't care less.

It was reported on MOTD as Leicester fans sarcastically cheering, followed by shots of King and Pearson looking pissed off. But fair enough I wasn't there.

I actually agree with the above. From a fans point of view the PL Is quite shit, expensive, overrated and the bullshit that goes with it often makes you vomit.
