mike doyle Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Give the Lad a Chance to show what hes really made of, he'll learn a great deal from Cambiasso?
Foxes1 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Agree he should be given a chance he is only 22 years old and will learn with experience, same with Mahrez he is only young. Or will NP drain them both of confidence like he did in the past with Gradel and Ben Marshall.
Matt Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Please play Knockeart, Anthony Knockeart, I just don't think you understand, That if you don't play Knockeart, Anthony Knockeart, We're probably gonna struggle even more.
Thracian Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 So a) He's not had a chance and ... b) His style of play is somehow likely to be complimented by Cambiasso. Knockaert's had lots of chances and I'd perhaps give him some more. IF: He plays football with his team-mates in the back two thirds instead of wasting possession where it hurts and leaving colleagues way out of position.. And IF: He stops running into blind alleys anywhere when there are perfectly good passing opportunities to nearby runners. If he can manage that he might become an asset again despite his like of pace. If not I'd say the bloke is a liability in The Premiership.
Bamba's Babes Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Can he do any worse than the current plebs? Play him in the no.10 role and he'll flourish.

FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 what ever crack you lot are on ill have some!!
cc_star Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Thread is an ultimate example of someone's stock going up through not being in the team His only saving grace is that others have now just about dropped down to the level he showed for us at a time when everyone else in the team was playing much better than they have most recently, when it would have been much easier for him to do much better than his woeful showings
Rob1742 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 It's easy looking from outside, but it's clear Pearson has decided to try and play the Premiership way. He has tried to fit in, which is probably the long term route to success. However, once you start losing, confidence goes and you lose all what you had when you came up. He is learning, just like the players, but he needs to change it, he needs to unleash Anthony and Mahrez and have a go at it. Take a step back and try and stay up with what we came up with. We could win enough games playing the way we did last season, provided we go for it now. I am not sure playing the premiership style, we have enough in us to learn it and win games with it. Pearson is getting it wrong, he should pick Anthony, but I can understand why he has gone down this path. Will he change the style back?? That is the question
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not

Matt Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not We lose the ball every time we attempt to make a pass at the moment anyway, he's not going to make it any worse.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 If it comes down to a choice of him and RIyad, and I expect it will, I'd pick Riyad. However, Knocky when we need a goal or a spark is surely worth a place on the bench?
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Lots of people are over rating knockaert. Although he has posotives there are so many negatives to his game, pace and his decision making being some. However, if we are to use wingers him and Mahrez against bottom half teams i think will work well
mike doyle Posted 10 November 2014 Author Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not And there are no other players in are first team squad that are not losing the ball consistently over the last few games. How can he be the worst when he's not been given a fair chance in the premiership. he should be given a go! Well i think so
cc_star Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 We lose the ball every time we attempt to make a pass at the moment anyway, he's not going to make it any worse. Not a fan of his, but even I think... Give him a go And that's the highest praise I can give the lad, we're that bad that even /he/ couldn't be worse
Rob1742 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not He got much better last season, and these players are needed to win football matches. Hammond and King type players won't win you matches, we need match winners.
lgfualol Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not Drinkwater loses it just as much. I'd love to see Knocky as a CAM
Monsell1976 Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Drinkwater loses it just as much. I'd love to see Knocky as a CAM To be fair as a team collectively we have given the ball away to cheaply this season. We have time on the ball, but don't know if it's confidence, composure or lack of options, but we are missing passes, lumping it, and passing it to the opposition, it's probably all of them
Jimmy Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 He'd be perfect for the tip of the diamond, doesn't have the pace to play as a winger so tip of the diamond or second striker
One Legged Beaver Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 He should definitely start against Sunderland for me. Always looks to get the ball forward quickly and adds a much needed creative and unpredictable spark to our attack.
theessexfox Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Matchwinner. Perhaps frustrating at times but he's my favourite player.

I have come to the same conclusion that Pearson is trying to transform our play into some notional Prem style as a long term plan. Maybe it is, rather, an Inter style; it has coincided with the arrival of Cambiasso, who Pearson admits has already influenced him greatly. Whatever ... I get a jittery feeling of echos of Peter Taylor's style in the negative, lifeless approach; and that, week by week, eroded the players' confidence and rendered them incapable of winning performances. I hope this view is over-pessimistic. Maybe Pearson will hold his nerve and all will work out OK. But it's tempting to call for a switch back to the style that got us promoted, with flair wingers. Whether Knocky could be part of the solution. I don't know; he hasn't performed well so far, but we are certainly not short of players to try in those roles.
Claridge Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 As it stands, he is by far the WORST player for loosing the ball. Can we really afford him to be in the team? I think not Can't be any worse than James and drink water who both look a million miles away from prem class unfortunately
