mike doyle Posted 15 November 2014 Author Posted 15 November 2014 We look nothing of the sort, barring Swansea, which was dismal, and maybe Palace, we have been competitive in every one of our fixtures. We do look like a newly promoted team who are finding our feet in possibly the most competitive league in the world. No one looks short of hunger or that they are abusing their position in the squad, I don't disagree that other players should have a chance but I don't think Knockaert will be ahead of many of the names that are on the bench. Recent form and position show otherwise. Competitive in who can lose the ball most, yes but not to the standard of the premiership. If thier not short on hunger then maybe their appetite isnt as big as other clubs. I also am frustrated at our current form just want the lads to step up and be counted..
Smiffy Fox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Done ok in the last couple of games, out of contract in the summer. Will he be offered a new deal?
Suffolk exile Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I think we should offering him a new deal.......don't forget GFT got one!
Clever Fox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 He's a tidy player busy lacks the physicality needed for the premiership. I can't frankly see the sense in keeping him. Let him off along with Wood and use the funds to buy more quality.
Clever Fox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 He's decent so won't be allowed go for nothing. I'm sure he will be offered a contract. But we have moved up a level which he can't reach. mainly because of a lack of pace.
Smiffy Fox Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 The lads only played a handful of premier league matches. He isn't premier league standard yet, but he's still young and learning. I think he's able to speak to other clubs between now and the end of the season. I'd be disappointed If we were to get relegated and he left for nothing. Very good championship player and given time I think he could become a decent premier league player. Sign him up!
Guest ttfn Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I think we'd be mad not to offer him another 3 years.
AS78UK Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 Would be gutted if he didn't get an extension. Still young enough to improve and if we go down, we will loose Mahrez and Knocky is our next most creative player.
Dan Posted 20 January 2015 Posted 20 January 2015 I'd extend his deal. People forget his age and they also forget quite how good he can be. A matchwinner on his day. I personally think he'll end up at somewhere like Toulouse though.

harpendenfox Posted 21 January 2015 Posted 21 January 2015 Strange he's the only young first team not to have agreed a long term deal. Perhaps it's been offered and he's turned it down. A question for Tanner, Sharpe or Stringer to raise.

He said in that interview that was mistranslated slightly that he hadn't been offered one yet but thinks he'll get one at the end of the year and extend
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 21 January 2015 Posted 21 January 2015 If De Laet got one, Knocky should have one too.
Claridge Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I would like to see Knockhart given a free role , maybe in a 5 man midfield. I know he has some faults but at least he can create and may score. Our centre mids are all very average and if we keep playing them we are going down. He has as much pace as any of the others and works hard, but his main role would be to create chances. All other options have not worked so why not give him a try?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 We should ask Knock Hart what he thought of his cousin's involvement in the Montreal Screwjob
theessexfox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Was thinking yesterday, although Mahrez and Schlupp have been playing well and the wing isn't really a problem area for us, it's weird how Knockaert has been frozen out, I thought he'd play a key role when Mahrez was in Africa, he had a good game against Villa (and we saw in the Tunnel Cam how much it meant to him), but then he's replaced by Vardy on the wing for Tottenham and United, not even in the squad yesterday.
Claridge Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 who is this knockhart you speak of? Thought a change of name might make pearson pick him.
Claridge Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Thought a change of name might make pearson pick him. He's given Moron and kuntchesky at the back loads of chances, wanking and dumbwanker in the middle and nogood up front loads of chances so why not Knockhaert?
Unabomber Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 He's given Moron and kuntchesky at the back loads of chances, wanking and dumbwanker in the middle and nogood up front loads of chances so why not Knockhaert? You're talking to yourself bro.
Dr The Singh Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I thought on Saturday we could have done with his trickery and diving
weller54 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Pig head Pearson doesn't like him.. So no chance!!
