AyewJoking Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 I'd like to stick with Pearson for stability's sake. Im sure we'll get relegated though.
Soup Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 The goal music before the ball had even hit the back of the net was truly hideous.
NathanC93 Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Was sat next to Knockaert and Mahrez on the train on the way back. Was wondering why those two were together and not with the rest of the team. Mahrez had his leg up on the table with a bandage on his knee, so i'm hoping he will be alright for Tuesday. The group of guys behind them gave them a bit of hassle, asking Knockaert if the squad are still behind Pearson and when are we going to turn it around etc. Never seen someone get off the train so fast when it got to Leicester! EDIT: Oh and also, Mahrez's friend said to me that Mahrez would be at Barcelona in 5 years... He said Leicester this year, then mentioned Roma, but when I asked him about Roma he went quiet and looked at Mahrez. Was hard to understand him as he wasn't speaking fluent English.
micky dripping Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Whenever QPR had a corner everbody came back to defend but all that did was to bring Caulker and all into our box, why didn't Vardy stay up on the half way line? At the very least you keep 2 of their defenders away from our box. Everything seems very negative!

I agree, it makes no sense and just invites more pressure.
Clever Fox Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 The overall performance was much better yesterday but we were done by poor individual mistakes. Mahrez not following the runner. Delaets poor defending again and Kaspers poor goalkeeping Schlupp ball watching instead of blocking Austin for the 3rd goal. I thought Cambi showed his class and I believe he will have a big influence on our season. Albrighton done well when he came on His crosses where just what Ulloa can feed on. We just need him making them from the back line instead of the halfway line. Nigel has to make the big decisions and bring in Hamner and Simpson particularly. Then give Wood a little run instead of cameos. We can't do any worse than lose, which is what were doing now.
fuchsntf Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 Sorry, but for me this criticism on Schmeichels performances I dont understand. The 3rd goal was noway his failure, he had made a top save and was trying to get up,and his general shot stopping was top. This season, sometimes he doesnt command the area like some, and occasionally doesnt attack the ball often enough in and around the area upto the penalty spot, but no different to many others.
ScouseFox Posted 30 November 2014 Posted 30 November 2014 just watching back, how fantastic is our red kit. we're messing up our best kit in years. some of our players are literally not fit to wear such a great shirt.

Kasper really is an overrated pile of shit, so yea he pulls of an unbelievable reflex save once in a while, but when it come to his allround goalkeeping he is shite, too erratic at times and couldn't position himself on the toilet let alone a set piece. Burnley at home was a glistening example of how poor he really is, it's alright running around screaming for the ball in his area, but he never actually gets it. He's bang average at best.

Definitely. I was a bit unsure of it before the season but dayum, does it look fine.

cjslcfc Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 Just watched highlights of the game back on foxes player. My god we had so many fantastic chances. Mahrez, Vardy, Morgan or guilty of messing up brilliant opportunities to score. Also had close shaves e.g Vardy's header, James' shot at the end, a breakaway we had where Vardy fired it at Schlupp's feet when a simple pass could have presented a goalscoring chance. We could have scored about 5 or 6 but failure to be more clinical and flimsy defending cost us big time. It's like we can improve on one thing at a time, then suddenly forget what we improved on. Improved defence the last two games but unable to create too much. This game there was some awful defending but we created a heap of chances to score. In the end it's frustrating. I hope we can create half as much vs. Liverpool. A lack of quality seems to be the overriding theme.
lgfualol Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 Reading some QPR views. Seeing us desribed as a good championship team with little individual skill from QPR FANS is just distressing.
One Legged Beaver Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 The worst bit of their time wasting for me was when Mahrez just went past Yun Suk-Young, so their player just hacked Mahrez down and then started rolling around on the floor for two minutes as if he was the victim.

I think it's pretty rich to complain about QPR wasting time when Schmeichel was taking forever to take goal kicks at 1-0.

bovril Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 It would be nice if we were in a position to time waste at the end of games.
Silverdaz Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 this in terms of Schlupp - I cannot believe how bad he is. A fluke goal that should not mask his terrible all round performance. Kasper needs to shoulder some of the blame - he WILL NOT come for any crosses and that heaps pressure on the back four. De Laet needs replacing on the basis of their first goal alone as he could not be bothered to stick a leg out to stop a cross. Mahrez has ability but his wastefulness borders on criminality. You think Schlupp was terrible crikey that was his best game for us, a goal, an assist and generally gave their full back a torrid time at least he ran at defenders
filbertway Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 I think it's pretty rich to complain about QPR wasting time when Schmeichel was taking forever to take goal kicks at 1-0. Were we actually time wasting in the first half? Jeez.
lgfualol Posted 1 December 2014 Posted 1 December 2014 Were we actually time wasting in the first half? Jeez. Wasyl took about 10 minutes to dry the ball so he could throw it everytime.

And yet, they are only one point ahead of us and were lucky to win on Saturday. We carved them open a number of times and their goals probably involved the least skill possible. Interesting how other fans view the game, though.
