because he was one of the main reasons we were conceding a ridiculous amount of goals every game and since then we sured up the defence considerably (until today).

Was he one of the main reasons?

And we were conceding a "ridiculous" amount of goals with Moore in the squad? 15, 16 in 10 games, wasn't it? And how many of those were his fault exactly?

I can think of about three to four initiated by De Laet or through a judgement of error by De Laet alone.

I just don't buy the idea that the Premier League is far superior to the top end of the Championship. Most promoted teams stay up (without massive investment) and most promoted teams are nowhere near as good as we were last season. Our squad is good enough to survive if properly managed but unfortunately that isn't happening. I'd keep Pearson regardless because I think he has earned the opportunity to learn from his mistakes and have another crack, but let's not pretend he isn't making any and put our struggles down to us being promoted to some kind of super human league.

I'd say there were three main reasons:

a) We sat back too deep too quickly after being 1-0 up

b) "Another" own-goal (after having sustained heavy fire from QPR as a consequence of point a))

c) Schmeichel not being up for it today - literally

I wasn't there today. But did Pearson make any tactical changes? For instance, it sounded like QPR were starting to get on top after about 25/30 mins? We were one up still then I think. Did we stick with the flat 4-4-2 or change it around? We scored so early it kinda didn't help us. But I did sit there thinking whether Pearson was going to give up one of strikers to get another midfielder on.

in fact yeah scrap "the bottom half of this league" being shit, literally everyone apart from chelsea, southampton and on their day city in this league is ****ing awful more often than not. we've put ourselves bottom, not anyone else.

Scouse, lets be fair, i know were all frustrated and i know were angry right now, but this just isnt true

To many players aren't good enough, some of them don't seem to be able to think what to do with the ball. We started well, could have had three goals then they got into it. We conceded three poor goals. Didn't get the substitutions either, taking Ulloa off yet again and he was one of the positives. Vardy tried though, yet again, I'd say he deserved a goal but he should have scored at 2-1. Very frustrating but we do look poor.

Just got back and I've got to admit, we're fvcking useless. Which ever clown that's decided to bring the whole team into the 6 yard box as a defensive strategy needs sacking. From what I saw both of their goals (not Morgans own goal) came from defenders getting in each other's way and tripping over each other. Qpr won every second ball, Barton ran the midfield and made our lot look like a bunch of kids. De lat looked like he was playing in a different game to everyone else, nugent is showing why no other clubs want him, ulloa looked like he couldn't wait to get off and spend his money, fvck me he's got an ace first touch but a shit second one. Vardy ran his socks off as usual but to no avail. The only glimmer of light was Was and Morgan, and he fvcked it up when it mattered. King came on and once again became mr anonymous. But on the bright side, I managed to find free parking at stanmore...bonus.

I actually think the players are OK. We were just hopelessly wide open today.

Two wingers and two strikers. A lot of the big clubs wouldn't even try that shit away from home. We gave ourselves no chance.

Pearson needs to stop trying to prove hes a tactical genius and just play 451 like every other ****er does away from home.... and he needs to do it soon as patience is running thin.

I actually enjoyed the game and felt we played better than we did at their place last season- difference was that we cleared the opportunities away before they could put them in. Going forward I thought we looked a real threat and tested their defence, but when you can't defend from crosses you are going to struggle.

Pearson went for it today and it made for an open game. I'd rather see us play like that than the diamond formation that limited us so much.

I was at Loftus Rd today which was a painful and draining experience siting with a couple of QPR mates in the home end.. the things you do to watch foxes hey!

Read a few posts about the match, but the QPR fans around me were raving about Schlupp and Kasper. Vardy missed a great chance and Wes looked clumsy for the og.

We gave it a go today, but we are good championship side playing a crap team of qpr mercanaries, gutted not to take a point.

Am at the KP against Man City soon but in the away end.. Someone please get me a ticket for the home areas!

Agree entirely, as usual.

I'd far rather see us lose 3-2 with terrible defending than defend well, create no chances and lose 1-0 from Cambiasso's stomach.

Fantastic result.  With Burnley drawing that puts us square bottom, finally some real adversity to overcome - this is what the players have been waiting for.  Surviving by staying comfortably in the middle of the table all year is boring.

:D

Our own little great escape!

How many chances did vardy have today, were they good chances? Seems to escape criticism at the moment. If Nugent had missed those chances...

Both are champoinship quality

You do not play 2 wide men and 2 central strikers like that, and leave yourself as open as that in a big away game. Its tacitcal naivety and its just giving the fans what they wanted probably as the explanation.

You cannot expect to concede 32 chances in a game and prosper. Far far too easy

Offensively we were very sharp in the first 25 minutes. Vardy and Mahrez missed golden opportunities.

Then it all went to shit.

We are so, so poor at defending crosses and set pieces. Every corner QPR had, they looked likely to score.

After it went to 1-1, then all the way to the end of the game, we were back to our dogshit selves again. No ideas going forward and just aimless balls lumped up front.

If we're classing Kranjcar and Barton shooting every time they crossed the halfway line as chances then that word has lost all meaning.

In terms of actual proper chances today we definitely had more (and better ones at that). Whether you win 8-7 or 1-0 it makes no difference. I'd far rather we had a go and we were pretty unfortunate to lose today.

you can only learn from your mistakes if you acknowlege to yourself you are making them,

nigel pearson is to arrogant to admit he ever makes poor judgements, at least thats the

impression i get.

Exactly - 32 chances sounds bad, but how many meaningful shots did they have? I remember 2 or 3 in addition to the goals. 4 good chances isn't as impressive, particularly when we had 3 great chances in the first 15 in addition to cambiassos goal. The defence was dodgy today, but 25 40 yard punts going straight over or being blocked at source give a false edge to the stats.

Pearson blaming mahrez IN RADIO for the result !!! i just cant imagine what mahrez have heard during half time then ! pearson is showing signs of a nervous man.

a coach can't name players like this, its discusting.

stop using mahrez as a right full back !!! as usual, he gave again quality balls that needed a finisher, and the ones that he missed he created them by himself.

will be benched for sure next week.
