LCFC Rennie Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Can't attack them or defend them, hopeless.
Bamba's Babes Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 The opposition are more likely to score from our corners and freekicks In all seriousness there is probably a stat to back that up.
Corky Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 We had two good corners today, James with one and Cambiasso the other.
lgfualol Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Can we start a kickstarter campaign to get a coach in? If we do have a set piece coach can we all take turns kicking him in the arse. When I played for the u14s our corners beat the first man.

Lambert09 Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 The most annoying today was Powells... one of his few strengths is heading... no idea why he decided it made sense for him to take one at such a crucial point... massive waste
Spicer Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 cambiasso takes everything from now on At least half his corners didn't beat the first man.
Blanesta Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I just don't think we attack the ball when it finally gets crossed into the box, we look static like we're waiting for the ball to come to us. It must be quite easy for their players to get it out.
southwest fox Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 We Aint good Enough were a good championship side
I blame Wellens Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 As I've said before if you can score from 4 or 5 set pieces this season it may be the difference between staying up and going down. We not only look like not scoring from one EVER, we also are looking likely to concede from them. Essentially were fooked.
Bamba's Babes Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I think they were definitely improved from previous games with James.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I think our lack of attacking set pieces is actually worse than our defending them. We got LOADS of free-kicks today, due to a ref who blew his whistle for every little touch. He was pathetic IMO. And we literally did nothing with them. Our attacking at dead ball situations is truly pants.
Matt Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 I genuinely don't get the excitement from people when we get a corner or free kick for that matter, we all know what's gonna happen.
sdb Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 What % of corners fail to beat the first man? 60?
Matt Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 What % of corners fail to beat the first man? 60? Gotta be higher.
sdb Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 Gotta be higher. Probably. Don't forget we float quite a lot aimlessly beyond the far post too though.
benpicko Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 cambiasso takes everything from now on His bad ones were just as bad as James's bad ones the other week and honestly James's really good ones were better than Cambiasso's. It was his free kicks that were ****ing terrible. James on corners, Cambiasso or Knockaert on free kicks.
lestajigs Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 We might aswell just give the opposition a goal kick, instead of us a corner,
foxinsox Posted 14 December 2014 Posted 14 December 2014 Powell was walking away, when Cambiasso indicated that Powell was to take it, it did not look well planned, but I would not hold it against Powell. The ones that really annoyed me was Knockheart, he won a free kick just outside the area. Grabbed the ball and held onto it. I could see Cambiasso was arguing with him. Knocheart took it then squandered it. A few minutes later he tried to insist on taking another and one of the coaches was shouting at him. He still has that attitude problem that wasted the penalty in the play offs. Pearson is right not to play him. Get rid.
