He wasn't great today but he shows promise and should be given a chance rather that being judged on two performances. Also I liked the fact that he wasn't afraid to run at defenders and have a go.

I think he'd be a little bit dissapointed in his twenty minutes or so.

He got his head down and ran at players once or twice, he moved around the channels quite alot but every time he had possession in their half he lost it, he missed a chance and he didnt show any of his dazzling footwork from them YouTube videos. His frustration showed

Still, hes young and even from that performance today I'd say he looks better for us than Nick Powell did

Sure most fans will agree Albrighton created several great chances today and his all round game was good. You're way off the mark there.

Yeah I am way off the mark and was incorrect. Only posed that out of frustration of people being negative "oh he's shite" etc - give the lad a break. He's just got back from Rotherham, where reports are he looked good in the Championship, so it's quite the jump up. He lacked composure at times which most young players do but at least he wasn't afraid to run at defenders.

Lawrence looked a bit nervous to me which is understandable. I'm sure he will turn out to be a good player for us. Pearson doesn't get many wrong.

He didn't look tidy in what he did at all. He tidily have the ball away in a sloppy fashion.

Look, you're right though. Maybe I am being a bit harsh in what I say. He does have some potential and yes comes from good pedigree at United. Send him back out on loan because he isn't ready for the relegation scrap. You can't say 'what do people expect from a 20 year old?' Well don't play him then if he isn't good enough or ready yet! Maybe next season he will be which is why I'm not against bringing through and buying young talented players into the club

I don't know what you're expecting, but he is in fact only 20 years old (one cannot emphasize this often enough) and hardly any youngster sets the world alight as a substitute with 15 minutes to go.

As a manager, knowing his skill, you bring him on with the intention that he

a) gets some Premier League experience under his belt

b) may influence the game in a positive fashion/more in your favour

If you want to see Messi, Barcelona is the better place for you.

If him giving the ball away lead to an equaliser he would have cost us 2 points. Yes, he might turn out to be brilliant eventually but he's a risk to bring on at 1-0

After he lost it the first time when attacking, it would have been easy for him to start playing it safe and take a back seat. He didnt. He kept on persisting with his natural game and tried taking people on.

Whilst nothing really came off for him yesterday, his endeavour makes me more than enthusiastic. Plus the position he found himself in for the chance he missed showed his positional sense is pretty good.

He's worth his place on the bench against Stoke.

Lawrence looked lively yesterday and put a shift in getting forward to help the attack and getting back to help the defence. For me his end product and final ball was poor in and around the 18 yard box but I think we saw enough to say he has a promising future ahead of him. To come straight in from Rotherham back into a premier league fold he's handled the jump ok. More to come from him.

Give the guy a break. He's young and inexperienced, he's only on the bench because our midfield is depleted. Every minute he plays in the Prem he'll learn from and that can only be a good thing. Ok, he wasn't amazing yesterday but who in all honesty expected him to be?

Leicester City reject approaches for striker Tom Lawrence from NINE clubs

Leicester City have rejected approaches for striker Tom Lawrence from an astonishing nine clubs.

The former Manchester United forward has barely played for Leicester since arriving from Old Trafford in the summer but manager Nigel Pearson wants to have all options available as he battles against the odds to keep Leicester in the Premier League.

Lawrence, 21, is poised to make his full international debut for Wales in their European Championship qualifier with Israel on Saturday but has only figured in four games for Leicester this season and three as a substitute.

Championship promotion chasers Bournemouth, Ipswich and Wolves have all asked about Lawrence.

Blackburn, Charlton, Leeds, Bolton, Rotherham and Wigan have also made contact.

However, they are now looking at other options in a last-gasp bid to bolster their squad.

Honestly though he'd be off to Bournemouth for the remainder.

Kind of shocked we're willing to almost stunt his progress so we have 'more options'.

I'd like him to be getting game time in an attacking side before the seasons up tbh.

Might explain his substitute appearances, trying to keep him sweet so he doesn't try to force a move.

I think he'll develop in to one of our best attacking players, so bringing him on as a sub gives him confidence that the manager believes in his ability and potential.

A loan away would be ideal for the lad, but I don't think his odd appearance has been down to keeping him sweet.

I've not seen any evidence of that so far but the management obviously think highly of him.
