GaelicFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I'm offering one to one therapy through the private messages system, fully qualified mental health professional and available night and day, because some people are obviously extreme fooking paranoid and deluded
Number 6 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Not sure why Sky are running the line they are. Guardian article describes approval as "likely".
Troop3r Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Guys you are worried for no reason.. -2 consecutive times chosen player of the Year in Croatia -18 apps /21 goals in league 74min per goal -8 apps/6 goals Europa League 114 min per goal -4 apps/2 goals for National team -one of 13 players that were left out of the recent friendly game against Argentina no to risk injury and be fit for the derby against Italy in EURO quali, that shows you how highly rated he is in national team (Subašić, Ćorluka, Srna, Lovren, Vida, Modrić, Rakitić, Pranjić, Perišić, Brozović, Olić, Mandžukić i Kramarić) -letter of reccomendation from National team coach If he cant get work permit, who can? And that argument about them wanting to cut on foreign players in premier league is stupid as hell.. If i get it right, he may not get permit because of that, but 11 Germans ( or Italians, Slovaks,French ect..) can play for Chelsea(or any other team) and dont need Work permit.. They dont even have to have both legs, or any apps for national team, they are fine... So Germans,Italians and other (EU countries) are not forigners? Cool Greetings from Rijeka
Matt Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Didn't Arsenal struggle to get that Joel Campbell a work permit?

Cool Greetings from Rijeka The first part of your post is great. Hope Pearson uses it as an argument. The second part of the post was answered already - ukratko, djelomično si točno shvatio, da oni bi htjeli smanjit broj stranaca, ali državljanim EU nije stranac, pa tako niti Čeh, Slovak ili Francuz u Chelsea-u. Mi, iako smo u EU, smo još stranici u Engleskoj. EDIT: It was quicker in Croatian.
Troop3r Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 The first part of your post is great. Hope Pearson uses it as an argument. The second part of the post was answered already - I know about non EU nations and work permits, i was pointing out that the argument of limiting foreing players is stupid on the case of Kramaric.. So on the one hand you can refuse to give him Work permit, but on the other hand whole German paraolimpic team can sign for West Ham.. How does that limit foreign players?
tripe Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 So Dorsett is saying that Chelsea didn't pursue the signing because they thought he wouldn't get a work permit? If they were going to loan him to Vitesse, he wouldn't need a UK work permit. Fantastic!!! True. Chelsea lost the battle for Andrej signiture to the "little" LCFC. They thought that they'll get the player just because they are Chelsea. It's natural that they are now finding all kinds of excuses.
mugshot Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Didn't Arsenal struggle to get that Joel Campbell a work permit? That was before the world cup, then all of a sudden after the WC its fine and he gets one
jammie82uk Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Didn't Arsenal struggle to get that Joel Campbell a work permit? They did but there is no comparison between the two Joel had made a total of 8 appearances for 2 separate clubs before joining arsenal and had made a combined 22 appearances for Costa Rica under 17's/20's
ADK Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I'd be surprised if he didn't get one. Our club would have consulted multiple experts prior to negotiations and would have been told the likelihood of him being refused based on past cases.
jammie82uk Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 That was before the world cup, then all of a sudden after the WC its fine and he gets one He got his permit in the summer of 2013
tripe Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I'm not worried about the permit. When you look at it, it's being done by the book. He is from Croatia, we still don't have full work mobility in the UK, he hasn't played in 75% of the NT matches in the past 2 years. This need to be done this way. First the hearing, then the recommendation to the Home Office. Your arguments are much better than all the players (on that list) that were granted the permit had. The problem is that the media are vultures. It's all about the clicks on their website. Panic sells. As well, the past week or so it the focus was on him signing, no one even though about the WP. To top all that, you guys don't usually do these kind of deals. Neither do we. It's all new. For a United or a Chelsea fan it's routine. They wouldn't bother.
Ozwin Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 If FM has taught me anything it's that it'll get rejected and we'll have to loan him out to some Belgian club for 3 years.
Dan Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I wasn't one bit concerned until I heard Zapata & Sulejmani had both missed out - on what grounds did they miss out?
indierich06 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I don't see how you can make a living out of something, then knock it at the same time. It kinda smacks of biting the hand that feeds Rich? Social media pervades into all aspects of life, none moreso than Sports really. Ignorance often wasn't bliss and the industry employs millions of people, including yourself. The internet has possibly been the biggest invention in my lifetime and as with anything fantastic, can be abused too. So I'm not allowed to dislike anything about the internet or social media because I'm employed by a social media agency? That's akin to saying I'm not allowed to criticise the government if I voted for them, or I'm not allowed to criticise England because I choose to live here. Of course the internet is an absolute marvel, doesn't mean that it isn't clogged up with an absolute load of horseshit. I take it you've never criticised your employer or your workplace in your life Col?
LCFC1996 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I wasn't one bit concerned until I heard Zapata & Sulejmani had both missed out - on what grounds did they miss out? Zapata had only played 5 U20 games for Colombia, with club stats of 27 goals in 109 games didn't qualify him as a "Special talent", Sulejmani seems a strange one
Narborough_fox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I wasn't one bit concerned until I heard Zapata & Sulejmani had both missed out - on what grounds did they miss out? Zapata has only ever played at U20 level (5 caps). Not really got an outstanding record at any club either. Sulejmani had just failed at Ajax, so I guess that's why his wasn't accepted. And it was only a loan deal which probably had a bearing on the decision.
Mark_from_USA Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I think Rob Dorsett is probably right with the 50/50 thing. You look at the list of players who were accepted and rejected and it's a flip of a coin. Disturbing. Knowing our luck we're done for. Don't let reporters trolling out click bait do your thinking for you. Look at this link, and just count. Out of 44 appeals since 2009, 38 have been accepted. That's not 50-50, nor is it a 'coin flip'. It's an 87% approval rate. And that's not counting the fact that Kramaric compares well against most of the applicants listed on there.

The biggest scandal in that link is the bar chart from last year showing Premier League players out on loan - topped by Chelsea with 30 players!!

RoboFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Loving the support from the HNK Rijeka guys throughout this whole saga. As others have said, it's about time we formed an alliance. So, as is customary, we should have some pins as well as half and half scarves for sale. You can find the link to the merch here.
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 My phone has been off all day. Any update on the transfer?
Bert Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I don't think he is allowed to train - training is work for proffesional football player, and for work he need's ... work permit. He's been training.
