BlueJoe Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I still think there is a reason for a phrase he "watched training". But hope your'e right. The fact he hasn't got a work permit so can't train as this would be deemed work?
JonnyBoy Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 What having to get a work permit for a non EU national? Sounds pretty normal to me. No. Cutting it fine springs to mind. How long have you been supporting city?
Xen Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 The fact he hasn't got a work permit so can't train as this would be deemed work? Its a mid season break in Croatia atm. Lots of professional footballers go to training camps elsewhere of their own accord (ie not on behalf of their employer), so it's possible they're passing it off as that. Or maybe they're spinning it as him being on holiday and we're allowing him to participate as a gesture (as we're not his employer until the permit comes through, he's technically not working). Either way, he'll be perfectly fine to train with us for the short time until the permit is given.
BlueJoe Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 No. Cutting it fine springs to mind. How long have you been supporting city? Hardly cutting it fine! Everyone knows that without hitting certain criteria you have to go through this process! Not to mention he was signed in the first week of the transfer window!!!

As the contract has been announced and the work permit is being waiting on I'm sure if he could have he would have trained. The only reason he wouldn't of would have been immigration clearance! He has just passed his medical so he isn't injured. Makes a mockery of the system if he is waiting on a work permit but is allowed to start working!!!
Oadby Fox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Knowing the fact we beat Chelsea, Make's me smile, WP is a formality, Andrej Kramaric is Ours, even if he doesn't play short term, the Man will have a great part in keeping us up. KTF

Oadby Fox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 They've only announced that...... So he's not our player yet
Finn Claw II Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I doubt he has been in full training - what if he gets injured, whose player is he then? Looking forward to seeing him play whenever it happens
st albans fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I doubt he has been in full training - what if he gets injured, whose player is he then? Looking forward to seeing him play whenever it happens Depends if rijeka's insurance company are happy to cover him training with us. Given that Rijeka are due 10mill next week on the nod of a panel, I doubt they will be allowing proper training with the squad.
tripe Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I doubt he'lll train until he gets the WP. If he gets injured in training the you guys are in a bit of trouble as he is still a Rijeka player (until the WP goes through). Of courde, if a deal is struck between the two clubs that he can train then it's ok. But if andrej get injured then Rijeka can't complain.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 How is it this country can let spongers and scroungers in with no issue at all yet someone who'll be a big tax payer needs a work permit
Bamba's Babes Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 How the daffy duck do we not know when the hearing is?

Stevie Synex Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Sorry but I love our country Don't apologise for loving your country. The hypocrisy within it does lead some to frustration though
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Plenty of spongers and scroungers are born here too. I never said there wasn't!
Itsthejoeker Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I never said there wasn't! I was just clearing it up! Not criticising your post!
Foxes1 Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 Get Keith Vaz on the case he will soon sort it out with all his dodgy dealings in the past.
DennisNedry Posted 10 January 2015 Posted 10 January 2015 I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'll ask anyway... How to thousands of non-EU nationals come here legally every year just to claim benefits, housing and healthcare with no problem, when on the other hand we have somebody trying to come over here with a contract signed and is gonna pay a shit load of income tax?!

Just another example of our ridiculous rules, it's like if someone was made redundant and they have a mortgage you can't get any help with the repayments, but if the same person was renting they would get the rent paid!

Myth, myth, myth. Non-EU nationals cannot come here legally just to claim benefits, housing and healthcare. I should know. My wife is a non-EU national.
