Richmondfox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Don't let reporters trolling out click bait do your thinking for you. Look at this link, and just count. Out of 44 appeals since 2009, 38 have been accepted. That's not 50-50, nor is it a 'coin flip'. It's an 87% approval rate. And that's not counting the fact that Kramaric compares well against most of the applicants listed on there. Exactly. People see what they want to see with these 'source' stories, shame 50/50 means negative with some fans with what is a normal procedure. The reporter would have no inside knowledge as the appeal hasn't taken place yet, as mentioned above it's click bait to keep a story going, 50/50 in a non story means yes or no it will be granted.
Guest Cujek Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Some people need to get a grip. Some of the comments on here make us sound like Burnley fans FFS. This...
Nalis Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Loving the support from the HNK Rijeka guys throughout this whole saga. As others have said, it's about time we formed an alliance. So, as is customary, we should have some pins as well as half and half scarves for sale. You can find the link to the merch here. Alliances are soooo last year. How about a Tri-lliance with Anderlecht and Rejika?
GaelicFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 They did but there is no comparison between the two Joel had made a total of 8 appearances for 2 separate clubs before joining arsenal and had made a combined 22 appearances for Costa Rica under 17's/20's Agree no comparison , apples and pears
Renart Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Don't know, haven't seen him train. Looks good, but I worry that he has the potential to be nutmegged!
Kitchandro Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Genuinely not worried. It's extremely likely he'll be able to play for us within a couple of weeks.
RowlattsFox Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Well I'm glad we've managed to get the application in early in the window. We couldn't afford to leave until the end.
BlueJoe Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 What's wrong with what he said?? Quips about 'smaller' clubs, structure of sentence... And I'm incredibly cynical!
Richard Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Seriously, he's all kitted out and with the team at the training ground, this will go through!
bmt Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 I'm not worried, but is there a time frame for the appeal to go through? Sorry if it's already been posted.
StanSP Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Looks good, but I worry that he has the potential to be nutmegged! Judging by that picture, there's potential to be a pole-dancer too....
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 So as nobody answered my question, I assume there's no update to this.
mugshot Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 So as nobody answered my question, I assume there's no update to this. Wont be any update until after the work permit appeal next week...
jammie82uk Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Are we expecting him to be introduced before the game tomorrow
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Are we expecting him to be introduced before the game tomorrow Surely not because the transfer hasn't gone through just yet.
Danizen Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 Surely not because the transfer hasn't gone through just yet. That hasn't stopped them announcing it on the OS and Facebook & Twitter. On the other hand, Cambiasso was never officially introduced, was he? He was straight into the squad vs Arsenal.
Simmo86 Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 This scenario is literally leicester all over What having to get a work permit for a non EU national? Sounds pretty normal to me.
davieG Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 That hasn't stopped them announcing it on the OS and Facebook & Twitter. On the other hand, Cambiasso was never officially introduced, was he? He was straight into the squad vs Arsenal. They've only announced that...... Leicester City Football Club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with HNK Rijeka for the transfer of Andrej Kramaric.Andrej, 23, has agreed personal terms, undergone a medical and will sign a contract to June 2018 once a work permit has been granted. Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/leicester-city-sign-andrej-kramaric-2189151.aspx#e4PJtUKTP6JeVoaV.99 So he's not our player yet
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 That hasn't stopped them announcing it on the OS and Facebook & Twitter. On the other hand, Cambiasso was never officially introduced, was he? He was straight into the squad vs Arsenal. Yeah we've agreed a deal and terms with both club and player but he's not officially a Leicester player until the work permit issue is resolved. He'll be in the stands for tomorrow. Hopefully he'll see a good performance from the lads, as well as 3 points.
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 This scenario is literally leicester all over It will be if the work permit is rejected. Typical bad luck.
4MilesOfForest Posted 9 January 2015 Posted 9 January 2015 He's been training. I still think there is a reason for a phrase he "watched training". But hope your'e right.
