Kramaric hearing is this afternoon but no decision will be announced today. Later in the week when FA have reported to Home Office. #lcfc

Ridiculous. Last week I was researching players whom have been granted work permits after an appeal and all of them received approval the same day the hearing took place and less than a week from when they agreed to sign for a club.

No wonder Pearson didn't want to say anything bad about the FA and the officials in his post match interview

I get the feeling that this Tanner chap just likes to get value out of his iPhone by posting pointless updates all the time.

...or....

He is watching this thread and posting what he knows will bug us...

so unless there is a leak we can switch off for a few days on this one

Today is with the FA they report to the Home Office.

Even if the FA agree with us the Home Office could still say No.

Not likely they would but they can.

Not sure why everyone thought it was going to be a yes today as only the FA at todays hearing.

Because as I've said, previous work permit hearings have been decided the same day.

I would assume because that's an appeals procedure, we're still waiting to see if he will be granted a work permit. The appeal process will come if his original application is turned down.

This is the appeal process, he has already been turned down due to not meeting the criteria.

if we are confident of him getting the permit then surely he is already training with the squad?!

It won't be as simple as that. It's subject to a work permit being agreed.

Rijeka would come down extremely hard on us if we injured a player of theirs and the deal fell through.

It really shouldn't take much longer than us pointing out that only Cristiano bloody Ronaldo has bagged more goals so far this season in Europe than Krammy has before they give the green light.

Hurry up and stop messing us about you shit twats. This week will be agonisingly long now.

So, the procedure is as following if I gathered correctly:

1.) The Appeals Committee meets today. Pearson, as LCFC representative makes your case. The "body of the elders" retreats and confers. This they can do so for a number of days (until the end of the week).

2.) The AC gives it's verdict to the Home Office. They can suggest why they think the WP should (or should not) be granted. The HO has a few options: to accept the verdict and grant the WP, to dismiss the suggestion to grant the WP or not to grant the WP if the AC suggests that there are no grounds on which it should be given.

3.) It the HO grants Kramaric the WP, LCFC can register him as a LCFC player. The registration is done by the FA.

I'll add that it's ridiculous that the AC can stall on this decision for a number of days (which can result in the WP being given, but Kramaric not registered for the Stoke game). I doubt that their decision would take this long if it were Chelsea or someone similar in question.

I don't see the need for them to dwell so long on this matter. Hear what Pearson has to say, give the fvsking verdict by tonight or tomorrow morning and let's get this over with.

...But i thought there has already been on a winter break in Croatia plus the additional 2 week of him jetting around and not playing and signing contracts.. sounds like he could be rusty, not ideal for someone who we want to hit the ground running and fire us up the league...

so im assuming/hoping that they/he/us are doing something to make sure hes keeping sharp..
