“Just coming off the 46, and Ava Go, Go Karting”

Like previously mentioned, a bit of a strange location, but very good food and cakes.

Also been meaning to go for a while. The opening times always seemed a bit odd. Am i right in saying it's only open lunchtimes and Saturday evening?

Somebody else mentioned this to me a few years ago, but they don't seem to do any marketing. Is it good? Busy?

Very good, it’s a bit random as you don’t eat in the pub but an out building.

They do get very busy, we tried getting in on Saturday night but it was fully booked so opted for a takeaway instead. Well worth trying in my opinion.

Ah think i've found it now. Looks like the restaurant is called Naaz Ka Dhaba. Will try and give it a go!

Finally did the Broadway on Saturday.

It's not going to win awards for service or setting but seriously good food.

I’ve always thought the service at Broadway has been spot on. Though that might have changed recently as I know they sent a lot of their staff to The Aberdale

I (along with an idiot mate in our early 20s) flew to Milan after a night out in London for a pizza. Agree it was insanely nice. But wow Milan is a horrible dump of a place. Good thing is there were very few English/American tourists ruining the place.

Do you prefer Talbot or Broadway?

One fella didn't understand anything more than the word poppadom but they were pretty quick getting him off the table. It's not bad, just not great.

I don’t think so. Close early though.

You can pay that for a mediocre one from Domino’s.

Six of us went to La Fontana in town on Saturday night, lovely food and good service, but our Spanish debit card had a bit of a shock at the bill, it was probably around 50% more expensive than we'd expect to pay at home for similar

Tax and NI increases plus the most expensive energy costs in the world have made dining out inordinately pricey

You can ask to just search for James Bistro, that only gives 4 results, all in this thread.  Well 5 now I guess

...and 50% poorer quality than local spanish food, in my experience. Depends where you are I guess but the Spanish food where we go is sensational, fresh and cheap as ****
