Supercomputer predicts lcfc will survive.... on goal difference

So Kram is going to score 18 goals in 16 games? Must have some good stats.

The results up to and including New Year's day were input, so 18 games were simulated (not the 16 left from now). And, given the way they've done it, the "with transfers" table would have Kramaric in our team for all the simulated games. I wonder what they had as our simulated results for Villa and Stoke.

Iv never contemplated having sex with a computer but for this one I will make an exception.

When I was a school a guy once got thrown out the IT suite and sent to the Head for being caught dry humping a open cd drive on a computer - bizzare!

Weird. Winston Reid with no club.

That is pretty weird, should have at least used lube.

I don't see how a computer can call the impact a transfer will have on a side's final position. Taking us as an example Kramaric could get smashed (god forbid) in the first game and be out for the rest of the season. Likewise we could lose another influential player who has been present since the summer.

So its all people guessing future fixtures, based on the current squads for the bottom table, and predicting new arrivals/departures into the current squads and then guessing the fixtures again for the top table. Whilst I appreciate the computer's generous sentiment we will survive, seriously what a crock of shit!

need to see the underlying probability distributions for this to make any sense. A point prediction such as this can only be viewed with the corresponding 'there is a 'x' percent probability that.....' OR there is 'x' probability that City will finish higher than 3rd from bottom

that 'x' probability statement, will, unfortunately will be minuscule where as the cumulative probability of finishing higher than 3rd from bottom would be really interesting to see................. all be not very realiable

Isn't everything but the final table a crock of shit though? Clearly no one will take it seriously and if they do they they need sectioning.
