Fox92 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Quite a few people on here were saying the reason Crystal Palace got promoted in 2012/13 was more to do with Dougie Freedman's work than Ian Holloway. Exactly. The other way now.
Bettsj2 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Speaking to a Forest supporting mate tonight and for the first time ever, it appears that the feeling at Forest is that they are in serious trouble. Usually, they blow any crisis off and talk about Cloughie and the glory years. It seems now they are realising exactly what damage Fawaz and his cronies are doing to the club. How a manager can be hired without the Chief Exec knowing about it is just ridiculous. Not paying for players is ridiculous. If Freedman has a negative impact which many Forest fans think he might, they could well see themselves relegated to League 1. Fawaz would certainly leave then who knows where they'll end up.
Saxondale Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Absolute jokers. When are they going to get wound up in the courts?
J.Lisemore Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 How can any Forest fan not see how bad this Fawaz guy is for the club? he's an absolute clown and I love it.
Vlad the Fox Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 How can any Forest fan not see how bad this Fawaz guy is for the club? he's an absolute clown and I love it.It seems to me that the family bought their bumbling, clueless son a football club to go and play with to keep him away from the family business. As a result the football club get ruined and not the business.Whatever, it's great entertainment. I didn't think it could get any funnier after maclaren and MacLeish but it's like the gift that keeps giving. Wasn't it last season that radio Leicester played an interview with him where he was saying that our success was down to us sticking with pearson and he wanted to copy that? Well he's got rid of two managers since then.
Socks Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 'Oh well at least we beat derby' i keep hearing at work Yeah keep celebrating that as the way your going you wont get a chance next seasion! Instead it will be a nottingham derby...
ealingfox Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Hypothetically, would people prefer Forest and us going down, and Derby going up, or us going down, Forest staying up and Derby staying down again?
Corky Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 'Oh well at least we beat derby' i keep hearing at work Yeah keep celebrating that as the way your going you wont get a chance next seasion! Instead it will be a nottingham derby... And Derby won't give a fvck when they are probably parading the Championship trophy in May whilst Forest fans are wearing their Zamora masks and reminiscing.
RUDZY Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Strange how Forest started off like a Rocket...and now THIS!
johnny the fox Posted 3 February 2015 Author Posted 3 February 2015 Im hearing Peterborough couldn't do any transfer business yesterday because forest hadn't paid their latest installment on Assombalonga..
Strokes Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Im hearing Peterborough couldn't do any transfer business yesterday because forest hadn't paid their latest installment on Assombalonga..Nice, I'm pretty sure they still go on about Leicester not paying their debts.
Vlad the Fox Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 Nice, I'm pretty sure they still go on about Leicester not paying their debts. They have well and truly lost any moral high ground they thought they had over us. They've turned into a right scummy little club (more than normal anyway) withholding payments to those who does business with them. As shown with peterborough this has knock on affects, to smaller companies it costs jobs and can send companies under. Something is seriously wrong there yet still they can't see it. Managers walking out, potential managers turning down the opportunity to manage them, continual sackings and people resigning. It's hilarious.

RUDZY Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Our number 1 enemy - Originally thought to be superior in the East Midlands...it is a true mystery how Forest have scuppered and fallen from grace.
Stadt Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 It's ****ing shit how forest and derby have both won the league
Ross-Kemp Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Im hearing Peterborough couldn't do any transfer business yesterday because forest hadn't paid their latest installment on Assombalonga..This is true, the chairman tweeted (I believe) saying no business can be done because of this and that they'll have to now settle for loans because they can't afford the fees.
Vlad the Fox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Peterborough should send the bailiffs round and take their property back.
chrishlcfc Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Looking forward to seeing how this works out, my forest supporting mate who goes home and away is livid pearce got sacked especially being replaced by Freedman, he is less than happy
marko Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Not Fawaz's fault apparently! Darragh McAnthony's own failings in the transfer market are being pinned on the Fridgeman to deflect criticism away from him. Priceless!
Vlad the Fox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Just realised this embargo is bad for us. How on earth can Friedman sign our deadwood now?
Leicester Lass Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Fawaz may be ready to quit Forest: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/05/nottingham-forest-owner-fawaz-al-hasawi-quit?CMP=share_btn_tw
Vlad the Fox Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 That photo!!! How on earth did they get him to agree to pose like that? Then again the blokes an idiot so it was probably simple but the last time I saw someone posing like that was in the Mercury when a family was asked to look forlorn over a lost cat, or something. However I'm sure he has no intention of going anywhere and it's just another one of his silly games playing the fans like a fiddle. If they had any sense they'd tell him 'fine, **** off' but his Twitter and ltlf will be bombarded with sycophants pleading with him to stay and saying how much they love him. The growing number against him will be roundly turned on and another fawaz day will be hastily organised to show their unwavering support.
