Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Fawez day postponed until their first win next season A scrappy 1-0 win against Fleetwood probably.
Unabomber Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Who do you boys think Fawaz will get in now? I reckon Cloughie jnr.
Corky Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Non-league Nige who they all mocked when at Derby?
Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Who do you boys think Fawaz will get in now? I reckon Cloughie jnr. Hope not, he'd probably do a good job. I'm hoping for Warnock personally.
ealingfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 "I posted this last month. Now a few edits. If you were lying wounded in no mans land in WW1 Pearce would be the man running out under fire to drag you to safety. If you were buried in a roof fall at the pit face he would be the man shovelling his bollocks off to get to you. If you were in a car crash and flames were creeping to your fuel tank he would be the man tugging at the door to get you out. He is the man we all wish we could be. He never gave us any bullshit. He did'nt hide behind bad refereeing injuries or his own shortfalls. He loves the club as much as us in fact he is one of us. We gave him half a season. Half a ****ing season. Where has the club i've loved all these years gone"
Corky Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 "If you were lying in mid table with no hope of promotion, Pearce would be there. If you wanted to spend millions and get worse, Pearce is the man. If your club was struggling to score goals and boring the crowd to death, Pearce is the person you'd expect to be there. He's the manager others look at and laugh at".
Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Dougie Freedman is favourite at the moment. After the job he did at Bolton, I definitely approve.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Everybody knew he was a toilet manager, sentiment blinding everyone over that way, it seems. With some of the names on their team sheet the fact that they're a lot closer to the bottom than the play-offs must have taken some huge incompetence on Pearce's part, not that their players should be absolved of blame. Either way, it's hilarious to see they're still pandering to that creepy looking shaft Fawaz because they're scared he'll pull the plug. 6 managers in little over two years is it? Makes Mandaric seem relaxed. Keep it up, Fawaz.
Saxondale Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Absolute poisoned challice of a job. Trigger-happy, interfering chairman; unmotivated squad; outgoing manager is adored by the fans.
AKCJ Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Dan Petrescu favourite ... Here's a copy of a letter I sent to Susan Whelan in September this year: Susan Whelan Chief Executive Officer Leicester City Football Club Filbert Way Leicester LE2 7FL Dear Susan First of all I would like to say, welcome to Leicester City Football Club, I hope you have settled well into your new job. I am a big supporter of our Club and have supported them for sixteen years. I am writing to you regarding my opinions on the future of the First Team Management, I feel that it is better for supporters to bring their opinions and feelings to the Club's attention, rather than complaining to the media on phone ins, or moaning in forums. As you are most likely aware there has been speculation regarding the current First Team Manager's Sven Goran-Eriksson's position at the Club, there have been rumors in the press that his job is under threat, only you will know whether these rumors are correct or not. The main purpose of why I am writing to you is to bring to your attention the person who I really think the Club should strongly consider bringing in to replace Sven Goran-Eriksson, should him and the Club part company in the near or distant future. His name is Dan Petrescu and he is well known in this country from his highly successful playing career with Sheffield Wednesday, Chelsea, Bradford City, Southampton and The Romanian National Team. He is currently the First Team Manager of a Club called Kuban Krasnodar, who currently plays in the top tier of Russian Football; he joined the Club at the end of 2009, following their relegation to the Second Tier of Russian Football. In his first season at the Club (2010) he won them instant promotion back to the Top Tier, winning the Second Tier by a nine point margin, they are currently lying in 6th place in The Top Tier and looked destined to finish in their highest position ever and could even potentially qualify for Europe. Before taking on the role at Kuban Krasnador, he was First Team Manager at a Club called Unirea Urziceni, who were based in his native Romania, the Club are no longer in existence after folding in July 2011. Dan joined the Club in 2006 following their promotion to Romania's Top Tier, and they made excellent continuous progress under his reign, qualifying for The Uefa Cup in 2007/2008 for the first time ever, then the following season (2008/2009) they won the Top Romanian League again for the first time ever, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in their history. The man is an absolute genius and if given the chance I believe he could bring wonders to our Club like he has in his current and previous job, I am of the opinion that if Sven-Goran Eriksson does leave us in the future there will be no better person to replace him than Dan Petrescu, he's got highly successful playing and coaching experience, he's fluent in English, knows the English game well, knows the European game well as well and he's still relatively young for a Manager at 43 years old. I hope you take my views and opinions into strong consideration and if/when a vacancy for the First Team Manager arises, that you and the Raksriaksorn's strongly consider Dan for the role. Imagine being this sad.
Unabomber Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Imagine being this sad. What the **** was that?!
Kitchandro Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Sacked with no time for a replacement to sort out the issues? Hopefully they're doomed. Would be hilarious to see them down, derby up and us survive. Biggest team in the midlands my arse. How would it be good to see Derby go up? Would be great if neither of them went up.
Danizen Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 If Pearce being sacked is bad news then them bringing in Dougie Freedman has to be good news!
Fox92 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Everybody knew he was a rubbish manager. Don't know why they went for him in the first place, regardless of his legendary status there.
ealingfox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Makes sense. Pearce said their Club needed to copy us to get promoted. Naturally they were going to change the Forest Club legend as manager to a Leicester Club legend.
separator Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Forest are 28/1 to get relegated, worth a quid I reckon.
Tuna Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Freedman appointed, its comedy gold! Pearce already got another job, Hartlepool V Carlisle on Soccer Saturday!
Corky Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 "We saw Douglas's fantastic track record of success commitment to attacking, progressive football wonderful job he did at Bolton superb record in the transfer market name and figured he'd be desperate enough to take the manager's position".
Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Wow. Another level of ineptness goes into that club.
