john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Very sad that Lineker is showing his true colours, his agent and pa people must be very disappointed in him just like all the Leicester fans.wind it in apart from the foxes talk bubble most agree with him lineker is a true legend
ARTY_FOX Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 wind it in apart from the foxes talk bubble most agree with him lineker is a true legend Nobody is saying he's not a legend, just that he's acting like a twat.
john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Nobody is saying he's not a legend, just that he's acting like a twat.as is Pearson
st albans fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 "Leicester are 2 down at Arsenal. Pearson needs to get a grip of his players at halftime." Lineker Humour ? Have any of you heard of that?
ARTY_FOX Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 as is Pearson He had his response to what pearson said yesterday. He then decided to take it one step further (that's what annoyed people) then today has decide that he has to stick his 2 pence in again for what reason? To say pearson needed to get a grip of them at half time is just wrong and stupid, they were playing fantastic.....
DennisNedry Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Just shows that Lineker isn't as big a fan as he claims. Using his status to mock our manager and undermine the team.
BlueSi13 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Just shows that Lineker isn't as big a fan as he claims. Using his status to mock our manager and undermine the team. Something tells me Pearson may have touched a little nerve yesterday. But it speaks volumes, Pearson was out there tonight managing his team in a fantastic performance against one of the top sides in Europe, and was unlucky to not get more from it. Whereas Gary Lineker is left at home mulling over what shit joke to use to try and undermine the bloke further to the delight of his hordes of teenage fans on Twitter. Low.
l444ry Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Humour ? Have any of you heard of that? I think the Pearson mob are so defensive they miss the humour.
john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Why I support the club.when Pearson is sacked or hands in his notice will you stop following us I won't lineker won't leicester till I die. Not manager till i die some of you have got It very wrong blood thicker than water and all that
Guest bss9401 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Sad little nobodies. Sorry to inform you but Leicester City were a good and well respected team once. We will be again, of that I am certain when men like Gary Lineker will still be a well loved legend.

Looks like you were correct, we were pretty good tonight and we're getting lots of respect from the national media because of it too

john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 The rest of us will as well, we stayed when God left us in 2010. You're nothing special or unique.feck off and die. I can look after myself.without your delusions of grandeur
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I've reflected upon this since my previous post and see it as a light-hearted joke.
EnderbyFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Why I support the club.when Pearson is sacked or hands in his notice will you stop following us I won't lineker won't leicester till I die. Not manager till i die some of you have got It very wrong blood thicker than water and all that You're an imbecile. If someone has the opinion that Lineker was stupid to tweet what he did, does that automatically make them a "Pearsonite"? Just because some people don't think it wouldn't be beneficial to sack a manager in February doesn't mean they're gonna stop supporting Leicester when said manager leaves. What's wrong with wanting to support your team & manager through thick and thin?
john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Paranoid or what who said the very sad word of pearsonite?
inckley fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 You're an imbecile. Just because some people don't think it wouldn't be beneficial to sack a manager in February doesn't mean they're gonna stop supporting Leicester when said manager leaves. What's wrong with wanting to support your team & manager through thick and thin? It was quite obviously a joke for a start. And the idea that Lineker responding to a provocative comment makes him, in some way, a valid target for our ire, is absurd. Coming on the back, as it did, of one the most humiliating shambles in our recent history (none of which had anything to do with Lineker, and all of which had to do with Pearson and the board). And you support the club. It's not necessary to support the manager through thick and thin. Those fans who were among the 6000-odd who'd turn up to yell 'Pleat Out' in the early 90s, those who wanted Taylor out long before he left, or Holloway, or Sven, were in no way any worse than those who didn't. If people feel that the manager isn't doing a job for his team then it's fair enough if they want him out. You can support the NHS without standing at the sidelines, chanting the Minister of Health's name, just like you can support your team and not like the manager, or left back, or team doctor, or even the Life President. But we have a manager who has done a very good job for us in the past. I think people go way, way over the top in their praise for him and there's a bit of a loss of perspective at times - and I suspect we may well need to find a new manager before we're an established PL side (I'll be proven to be wrong, I might add, if we get many more performances like tonight's). But we can still be very grateful for the good he's done this club. We also have a fantastic Life President who, though he may not like the manager much these days, has also made an invaluable contribution to this club in the past, as a player and a fan. Regardless of whether we want Pearson out or in, or particularly like Lineker's tweet (which is a drop in the ocean compared to the mess that's unfolded here over the past few days, or compared to what he's done for us in the past), there's every reason for us to think the world of both of them.
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 wonderful post and could not agree more. Here in the US when he has appeared on TV he has always stated what a great job Pearson has done. What he has said is that many fans are unhappy with Pesrdons selections and tactics this season. Which is true. It was quite obviously a joke for a start. And the idea that Lineker responding to a provocative comment makes him, in some way, a valid target for our ire, is absurd. Freeman's Wharfer Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 I think that as a Lfe President he thought that he should actually speak out and let people know what had happened in the whole debacle. because it clearly wasn't going to come from the club or the manager, and the fans really do have a right to know. Don't make out he was doing some saintly act on behalf of the fans! The only thing he was taking care of was his own ego that had been dented by Pearson's dig. To those persistently singing Gary Lineker chants last night, was there really any need? You do realise that as fans we don't have to take sides in this. One is the manager who has brought our club back from it's lowest point in history to the highest point of the last decade, the other is a local lad who went on to find fame and fortune and has never hidden his allegiance to the club. They have had a spat... who cares?! Singing the name of Nigel Pearson at a match is getting behind the man in charge of the team and who is stood on the sideline. Singing the name of Lineker is making out that you're supporting Gary Lineker (potentially over Pearson, I don't know) who has no influence on what's going on at that match (and who, quite frankly, doesn't need anyone to fight his corner for him).
Burbage Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 I tend to agree with the majority and it may well show my age. GL along with others put their own money in to help the club when we needed it most, and has never hidden his support for the club which I think is fantastic. Unfortunately we have a current manager who I doubt would put his own money into our club and appears to argue with anyone and everyone if they dare to disagree with hum . lets look at the facts. NP is not talking to Radio Leicester for daring to question continual changes. Told fans to ....we all know what Grabbed Mcarthy by throat and not let him return to the pitch Blames the media for blowing this up Gets involved in a row with GL None of the above is untrue and makes him look like an arrogant fool when as we after last night stare relegation in the face, with the 2 teams who finished way below us last season still have a chance... who is to blame Nigel Pearson.... end of

I was there last night but right over the side by the Arsenal fans behind the goal so didn't hear the Lineker chants. I had intended to sing the same myself if the One Nigel Pearson chant started. I saw it as a way of making my feelings known about NFP without being in overly provocative to the Pearsonites.
MrSpaM Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 NP is not talking to Radio Leicester for daring to question continual changes. The only person he doesn't speak to is Stringer, they made that clear on the moan in on Monday. He's got no issue with radio Leicester asking questions, it just so happens the one guy he wont talk about anything to is our local commentator.
