harwich fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 For one or two on here who don't appear to know he actually was the architect of the rescue bid that saved his beloved club so show some respect.
GaelicFox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Here here he and heskey and a few others stopped us being liquidated, Pearson blocking MOD staff is pretty petty but he is looking shell shocked and isn't thinking straight, Lineker wasn't clever saying that but he is from this city served the cause well and help save us from the abyss
Fox92 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I don't know anybody who can question Lineker's status really. Yeah he could have done with not saying that today on social media, but he is a Leicester City (and England) legend. End of.
AKCJ Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Of course he's a legend, nobody here thinks otherwise. Just some people, myself included, think he's made a bit of a twat out of himself with his silly retweet hungry twitter antics. I'm sure he regrets posting what he did.
Tielemans63 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Lineker is an absolute club legend but in this instance his comments haven't done the club any favours. The revelations he made were a bit below the belt and pretty unhelpful. Having said that Pearson was stupid to have a pop at them for doing what they're paid to do.
PAULCFC Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 If it's the truth and their was a spat between our owners...then why not.At least someone is telling the fan's something.
Guest Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 For one or two on hear who don't appear to know he actually was the architect of the rescue bid that saved his beloved club so show some respect.Right. And I respect him for that and his history with our club and city. Should he then be beyond criticism? After all we know that what's gone before bears no relevance on the current predicament. Or is that just for Pearson?
MooseBreath Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Lineker has done absolutely nothing wrong. Pearson is blaming anyone but himself. Lineker totally within his rights to mock the big man who can't own up to being a bit of an idiot. Our Gary's comments are just the tip of the iceberg, the wider footballing world is laughing in disbelief at Pearson today.
TOMBlcfc Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 What did he say anyway? Thought i saw all he said and didn't think any of it was bad
stingray Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Pearson should stick to picking fights with guys on the deck. He's not clever enough or subtle enough to take on the likes of Lineker, BBC etc etc
Bayfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 is lineker a legend of this club? a local boy done good, a hero of mine, a legend at international level and a proud supporter of this club. however was he here long enough to become a legend in those terms? whilst I like the fact he publicly supports us and makes no bones about be a Leicester fan his comments to day have done more harm than good and he has proved himself to be as childish as nfp. so far no one has come out of this well. and for those backing him for helping save our club. he could have saved it on his own and done a huge amount for this club off the field. he just wasn't that daft
yorkie1999 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 If it's the truth and their was a spat between our owners...then why not.At least someone is telling the fan's something. Just wondered, Why do you say if?
MHC Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Pearson has had a go at Lineker and Co for doing their jobs. All Lineker and Co have done is point out that Pearson isn't doing his own job properly and it's their job to do that so that makes it okay. Pearson has retaliated unprofessionally yet again by having a dig at someone (for doing their job at the same time as himself failing in his own job ironically), which has quite rightly given them fuel to add to the fire, and further proof Nigel has lost the plot. He doesn't make it easy for himself does Pearson.

Far more deserving of the legend tag than some of the more recent players afforded this honour.
Guest MattP Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I find it weird that some people would judge what they believe is right or wrong on the basis of how much of a club legend someone is. It's almost like you are incapable of managing your own opinions.
CosbehFox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 For one or two on hear who don't appear to know he actually was the architect of the rescue bid that saved his beloved club so show some respect. He led a consortium of which they were a few.

It's almost like you are incapable of managing your own opinions. Aren't many people doing EXACTLY this about Nigel Pearson. Particularly the younger members who know nothing other than success under Pearson? I think you're right but this whole argument can be turned 360.
PAULCFC Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Just wondered, Why do you say if? Don't think it's been clarified what went on last night, but if Gary on his tweets is right in what he say's........then we are a bit of a circus.

Buzzell Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 JJJS, can you make a gif of Pearson headbutting Lineker?

It's almost like you are incapable of managing your own opinions. It goes for both Pearson and Linekar, to be fair , after the shit Pearson has said, I can't believe anyone has would stick up for him, the man has no integrity
