Sol thewall Bamba Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 I heard Brentford want rid as he is a bi of a master baker. I'll get my coat! At least you know he'll rise to the challenge.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 At least you know he'll rise to the challenge. Dough!
johnny the fox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 bakes lovely bread far too crusty for my liking..
blueonyou Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Maybe Brentford think they don't knead him anymore
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 What ambitions do you connect with the scenario of Warburton managing Leicester City FC? He ought to lead Brentford further and is doing an excellent job so far, albeit surely riding high on a promotion bonus, just like we did a few years back.
MPH Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Looks too much like Holloway in that photo. No thanks.

You could say that he's riding the crust of a wave.
shade Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 he'll probably want a whole new batch of players on the pay roll, it would be barmy to sack nigel, bunbelievably bad decision.
notnow john Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 There have been happenings at Brentford apparently. Looking at the manager of Ray Vallecano reportedly. Wasn't he in the Sopranos?
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 "Widespread reports on Sunday and Monday suggested the Premier League strugglers had lined up the highly-rated Bees boss to replace Nigel Pearson at the King Power Stadium" what?! widespread? don't think I even saw it mentioned once.
CollinsLCFC Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 There is going to be so much speculation post sunday night. Noone knows what is going on,or went on behind closed doors. It seems to everyone else that Pearson is on extremely thin melting ice, so every man and his dog will be linked, and the papers can make so much from it.
notnow john Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We don't knead any more half baked rumours
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 He certainly has done wonders at Brentford, but I doubt he would be better than Pearson. Who knows what will happen now, but I suspect the bomb is about to drop.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Football is football, and taking him on over someone else with a tonne more experience would be a huge risk, But at the end of the day he's got brentford playing fantastically well, He's obviously coached and has experience in football, People saying "2 years experience" Nigel only has 5 in the modern game and has been undone at this level, So although it's a huge risk, he's proving he can do it at that level much the same as nigel, and has got a team on sod all budget in a fantastic position in the championship. I'd take him if we get hammered tonight.
cityfanlee23 Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Championship (2014–present)[edit] Warburton's first game in management at Championship level took place against London neighbours Charlton Athletic on 9 August 2014.[52] After the 1-1 draw, he said "we've got a lot of young players who will find their feet, but when you start a new job and move up you have to adapt to your new environment quickly because no allowances will be given".[52] Warburton led the club to their first league win of the season on 19 August, winning 2-1 at Blackpool.[53] In early September, Brentford went into the first international break of the season in eighth place in the Championship.[54][55][56] A 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on 13 September lifted the Bees into the Championship playoff places for the first time in the season.[57] Despite further victories over Leeds United and Reading, a run of defeats and goalless draws saw the Bees drop to mid-table by the end of October,[58] but three straight wins in November saw the club back into the playoff positions.[59]Warburton was named as the manager of the Football League Team of the Week for 3–9 November.[60] A club record-equalling five successive second-tier wins sent Brentford to third-place in the division at the end of November (the club's highest placing in the league pyramid since the opening day of the 1952/53season)[61][62][63] and earned Warburton the Championship Manager of the Month award and the LMA Performance of the Week award for a 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.[64][65] At the end of 2014, Warburton had managed the Bees to the best home record in the Football League in 2014.[66] Three wins from four in January 2015 saw Warburton earn a Championship Manager of the Month nomination.[67] At the time of his fourth anniversary of joining the club on 3 February, Warburton had the best winning percentage of any Brentford manager in history.[68] On 10 February, an article in The Times claimed Warburton would be replaced as manager at the end of the 2014–15 season.[69] A club statement concerning Warburton's future was released, confirming he would remain as manager.[70]
