cullenfox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 McCarthy and Laudraup are managing a top 8 club.... right then Neil Lennon or Paul Jewell instead.
cityfanlee23 Posted 19 February 2015 Author Posted 19 February 2015 right then Neil Lennon or Paul Jewell instead. BRAVE - what makes you say him?
Donut Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Its hard to argue that David Moyes is anything other than a top class manager. Would be an excellent choice at Leicester as a man who would improve all areas of the club.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 I've been impressed with Villarreal boss Marcelino Toral and think his style of play would suit us too EDIT - just seen they are in the top 8. Oh well.
ousefox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Wow that video makes me want to go back to San Sebastian. Sure I sat at that table in the cafe they were at. Bloody expensive place mind you. Howe and Moyes are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head who I would want and of course, neither would come.
FoxInBlue Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Tony Pulis Martin O'Neill Tim Sherwood My heart would say O'Neill (although going back isn't always a good idea) but I think I would go with Pulis. But.... this isn't going to happen and I am more than happy to have Big Nige in charge, and even if we do end up going down he'll be in charge again next season. He's taken us up once, he can bloody well do it again
MooseBreath Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 I'm impressed with the OP's thread management. Too many people post and run, this guy is sticking around, fending off naysayers and responding to those who engage with the topic. Really good work. My three picks for managers who would do a better job than Pearson are: OP OP OP
AyewJoking Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Has there ever been 3 managers at a club? Keep Pearson but add Keegan and Ince into the mix. Pearson could prioritise coaching the defence, Ince could mould a formidable midfield and Keegan would energise the forwards.
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 I've got the ability to pull out a name nobody would have guess. not even the bookies. You see, this man has got great credibility and a great record. So step forward Johan Cruyff. Not only will this man keep us up, we'll be playing great football and I can see our name on the league title in the not to far distance...
cullenfox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 BRAVE - what makes you say him? Admire him for the work he did with Wigan. Did well to bring them up and keep them up.
One Legged Beaver Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Jurgen Klopp would just be head and shoulders above everyone in my opinion. Moyes is obviously a decent manager as well, and I think most managers in the world would have failed at the Man United car crash of a situation last season. If you were allowed international managers then as the third I would probably pick Klinsmann. Didn't do a great job when at Munich but seems to have come on leaps and bounds for the USA. Would be a gamble though as it's a completely different type of management.
crazylegs1984 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Gus poyet !! Number one choice for me Nigel Pearson why not give him his job back again Martin o'neill to ruin a legacy he left
5waller5 Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Klop of course. I'd be calling big Sam right now and offering him 5 years of security .... And buying out whatever's left of his WH contract.
bluebeau Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 George Graham Don Howe Ron Atkinson or Junior Lewis with Peter Taylor as Assistant Damager.
ronnup Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 Did some somebody say Paul Jewell? Oh my days....
Corky Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 The **** cost us the MrClutch Cup. He can stay well away.
Danizen Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Has there ever been 3 managers at a club? Keep Pearson but add Keegan and Ince into the mix. Pearson could prioritise coaching the defence, Ince could mould a formidable midfield and Keegan would energise the forwards. That kind of arrangement sounds good on paper but would be a real clusterfvck if it ever happened
