Good first half, well done Leicester. Love this formation.

Ieagle stuff.mahrez and schlump are shite and just play every game.defence and cambiasso ok so far.

It's a dour game, if ever a hold up man was required it's surely today. They need to think about moving Kramaric out wide and bringing Ulloa in, maybe moving Shlupp back to accommodate him. Can't fault the effort the last 20 minutes, but when you're isolated up front it's too easy to defend. We need to get their CB's actually doing some work, they're having a field day winning headers off Krama

Cambiasso' passes over the top of the defenders are a bloody waste of time, if it actually gets weighted well enough to go over the defender and onto the onrushing striker it's usually right in the corner or somewhere pointless,

Surely for someone with such an incredible footballing brain he would quickly realise we can't even do the basics right let alone the spectacular

With u on that. He's frustrating because you can see what he wants to do, but often the pass is a suicide one, way under power. Or he is over thinking it and no one is there.

When he is in the middle of the park and playing short, simple balls, I feel he is more effective. It helps us patiently build and move forward together.

Yeah, screw trying to do something creative. He should do some more of those awesome sideways and backwards passes that we love to see.

No how about just a simple through ball rather than one over the top right into the corner flag... or those first touch passes on the volley that go to players like schlupp that couldnt control a pass on the floor let alone a fast ball volleyed into him

Good performance - and Wes is actually looking reasonably solid reading the game well for once.

Krameric still looking stranded but potentially dangerous all the same.

Just as with Arsenal we are hopelessly exposed and vulnerable down the right. Konchesky completely unable to deal with the pace of Lennon. Can't see any imminent changes which we were crying out for last week - but f we do revert to four at the back like last Sunday - Everton will likely score.

Same as at half time against Villa, Im saying today was not a bad first half for us. Not bad at all. We have a clear game plan and, so far, have executed it.

But it's not pretty..it's dull and boring...

Genuine question..what do people want? To see Pearson stick with this formation and try to grind out results, or to go for fluent and attractive football?

What I don't think he should do is to change it, mid-way through the second half.

A draw today, given the run-in we've got which, on paper, becomes easier, would be a good result. I've said for yonks that IF we aren't too far off the pace, come the final 6-7 games, we still have half a chance. Not losing today is a must.

Way to many people on here happy about that first half! Great we've held another team that can't score goals to 0-0 at half time yayyyy! Anyone remember the last time we were genuinely entertaining?

Esteban and Krama look like two worldies that have accidentally walked into a sunday league team whilst walking across a park!

Attack attack attack in the second half please! Draws will relegate us, id rather go down fighting.

Missed everything up to the 38th minute due to a meal for a friends sons first birthday. Can someone give me a quick summary of the first half?

We are shit, all the players are a disgrace, Peason is an idiot, what is this formation and line up? Then the game started....

So far, not a lot happened, pretty tight game, Krama and Jeff with a couple of half chances and Everton not really done much either but look a threat down our left.

Oh, we are also really dangerous from set pieces apparently.

No we weren't, we were fine. When were we lucky?

They have squandered opportunities and been limp wristed going forward themselves. 85% possession at one point tells its own story.

That's not to say we've been completely fortunate, Schlupp could easily have had two in that half and only a fantastic interception stopped us from going in 1-0 at the break.

i dont buy that, many many times the corners are allowed at the end of time

lol

If time has run out they shouldn't be allowed. It's a pretty fundamental rule of football, score in the time allotted.

They are there for the taking we'll never have a better chance. Need 3 points.

exactly what I was thinking

Honestly, if we had Pulis this would be very similar, they played like this at Everton a few weeks ago.

I'd like us to have a go more obviously because we want to see attacking football.

After reading some of the shite in this thread it's obvious some have no clue. We are 0-0 at Everton and looked the better side going forward in that first half. People need to learn to read the game FFS.

Game is there for taking. Get Drinky on for Morgan.

Hmm, if anything we need somebody up with Kramaric.

I'd swap Morgan for Nugent, go four at the back, have James-Cambiasso-Schlupp in the middle with Mahrez playing off Nuge and Kramaric.

Might as well go for it now.

6 first half goals in our last 22 games. 3 in the last 13.

I wasn't expecting us to play like world beaters because we're not. A decent first half I think, restricting them. Got to watch Baines and Coleman though. Point would be more than I expected at the start of the day so would be happy if it stays 0-0. It's a good opportunity to knick a win though.
