Corky Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Unfortunately, still expecting the "unlucky, played well in defeat" tag to stay with us.
Vossen Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Score from a corner....we'll never score from a corner....score from a corner....we'll never score from a corner...
cityfanlee23 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 If we are going to attack put De Laet on LWB
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 With u on that. He's frustrating because you can see what he wants to do, but often the pass is a suicide one, way under power. Or he is over thinking it and no one is there. When he is in the middle of the park and playing short, simple balls, I feel he is more effective. It helps us patiently build and move forward together. Cambiasso's strength is keeping possession and the little give and go's. He's not so good at the longer balls. Sometimes it works, but more often than not, it gives them the ball back. Keep it short and simple Esteban.
BoyJones Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 wtf doesn't Schlupp dummy that shot cut inside and then shoot. We were screaming don't shoot, don't shoot, the defender right in front of you. I have met him and he is a lovely guy, but football awareness non existent at times!!
EGBFitness Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Having said that we're still not thinking properly in the final third, Jeff's chance before half time, take a touch and the defender sliding in, is out of the picture, then get your shot away. Are you actually suggesting he should of took a touch from 8 yards out?
coolhandfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Schlupp would fall in a bucket of tits and come out sucking his thumb!
Callabinho Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 We haven't punished Everton yet really for some poor play on their behalf, problems come later in the game when they start to push more and commit more men forward and overwhelm us. And Jeff has just highlighted that.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Unfortunately, still expecting the "unlucky, played well in defeat" tag to stay with us. Maybe just maybe today we buck that trend.
kingfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 When we are able to get on the ball, we don't look too bad. Matty James has looked class, when he has been able to get it down and play. Cambiasso did well in the last ten minutes, just needs to cut out the odd lofted ball. Kramaric when he gets it looks decent again. Keep the ball well enough, and if Mahrez ups his game we can get something.
Finnegan Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Schlupp is probably the worst finisher I've ever seen. He makes Dyer look consistent.
Monsell1976 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Well the chances don't get much better than that
