Callabinho Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Very good first half actually, Mahrez needs to sort his crossing out and Kramaric is trying his hardest despite being isolated.
BlueSi13 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Meh pretty even match. Gotta say i'm pleasently surprised to see us go in at half time 0-0, so credit where credits due. We've probably had most of the attacks but they've come to nothing as no-one fancies helping Kramaric out. Everton have had the better quality chances though and I do feel they could, probably should be ahead. No. No they shouldn't be ahead at all.
JAPANFOX1 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Good first half, well done Leicester. Love this formation. WTF!! We are rock bottom of the league and play with one striker who is miles away from any team mate for most of the half...... We are not parking the bus in the champions league final..... We are not playing Real Madrid... WE ARE s*** AND NEED POINTS.... 5-4-1 ain't the way !!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 I know youre not allowed to give praise or say anything positive on here any more but that was actually a decent half. Pretty even game really, they've only had a couple of chances. Let's not beat about the bush, we were dogshit for the first 25 minutes and were lucky not to be behind. The last 10-15 minutes were a vast improvement, but we haven't turned a corner until there's a big fat 1 by our name in the second half with a zero by theirs.
josh_baskin Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Created some decent chances which as usual we will rue missing after we loose to a usual narrow defeat.
l444ry Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Excellent first half. Cambiasso running the show. Once we sorted out giving the ball away on the turnovers City have looked impressive. Big worry now is that Everton will tweak it a bit like Villa did and we stay the same without seeing it coming.
MooseBreath Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Restricted them to half chances and created a few of our own. Such a shame that Mahrez has lost a bit of spark, and we'd be so much better off with De Laet instead of Simpson. Overall a decent half where we were slightly the better side. Just waiting for the inevitable mistake to ruin it again now.
ozleicester Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Reasonable half, a good chance to snatch this
Jimothy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Missed everything up to the 38th minute due to a meal for a friends sons first birthday. Can someone give me a quick summary of the first half?
Crinklyfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 If we get a 1-0 out of this people will be saying we 'did a job' on Everton, much like Stoke earlier in the season. Well we're half way there and just need to sneak one from on of the few chances we've created. I don't care how we get the points as long as we get them.
DennisNedry Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Everton are poor. So cue a poor second half and Everton to take a scrappy 1-0 win.
Kitchandro Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 When Seenitall is the voice of reason, you know people are losing it. Ha. But we're not really 'doing alright'. Certain individuals have done well but our tactics and certain personnel selections have hindered us big time. Decent displays from James, Mahrez, Schlupp, Huth and Kramaric have been tempered by the likes of Simpson, Cambiasso, Morgan, Upson and Konchesky who are making the game look astonishingly difficult. Again, this is another match we are capable of winning (surprise surprise we raise our game 10% against a bigger club when we can't be arsed to put a shift in against most sides) yet everything Pearson does is seemingly and attempt to make us less dangerous. Everton will again dominate possession in the second half and will score, then we might decide to bring another striker on and give our forward players a better chance to cause problems. Too late. Everton haven't played well at all yet we've been mainly camped in our own half for most of it. A lack of ambition will again result in one thing.
Deucalion Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Brian Little built a side which were good at set pieces too, and in the early days O'Neill kept and built on this attribute.
Vossen Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Back to the keeper & hoooooof... we have not won one header...
Guest Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Huth has looked great. Wes and Schwarz decent. Kram our only real threat. What has happened to Mahrez? The rest pretty much business as usual.
ealingfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Let's not beat about the bush, we were dogshit for the first 25 minutes and were lucky not to be behind. The last 10-15 minutes were a vast improvement, but we haven't turned a corner until there's a big fat 1 by our name in the second half with a zero by theirs. No we weren't, we were fine. When were we lucky?
EGBFitness Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 both teams seem to be a little bit rigid and defensive. Expect it to open up more in the second half. We need to get more numbers higher up the pitch and press them higher up, their fans are on their backs and we need the win!
Tuna Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 They are there for the taking we'll never have a better chance. Need 3 points.
Beliall Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Because time ran out. i dont buy that, many many times the corners are allowed at the end of time Because we are too dangerous at set pieces.
Corky Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Missed everything up to the 38th minute due to a meal for a friends sons first birthday. Can someone give me a quick summary of the first half? Started well, Everton took more of a control but we were always dangerous on the break, could've scored before half time. We need to play more passes to Kramaric like the James' one, hoofing it will do nothing for us, play it on the floor and let him run.
Callabinho Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Having said that we're still not thinking properly in the final third, Jeff's chance before half time, take a touch and the defender sliding in, is out of the picture, then get your shot away.
AjcW Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Way to many people on here happy about that first half! Great we've held another team that can't score goals to 0-0 at half time yayyyy! Anyone remember the last time we were genuinely entertaining? Esteban and Krama look like two worldies that have accidentally walked into a sunday league team whilst walking across a park! Attack attack attack in the second half please! Draws will relegate us, id rather go down fighting.
Claridge Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Worst player on the pitch so far? Schlupp in my opinion!thought he's played well
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Can win this. But no doubt we will play ok and then shit at back, losing 2-1
