hejammy Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Well our second half is usually better so I'm hopeful!
iancognito Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Did the commentator just say we are dangerous from set pieces? Has he watched us before? The last time most of them saw us was in 1996. When we WERE dangerous from set pieces. Had Matty James been around in 1996 with his dogshit corners it would have been different.
Babylon Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 You lot....sure we could do with a manager change but we are doing alright hereWhen Seenitall is the voice of reason, you know people are losing it. Ha.
MC Prussian Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 If ever there was a better opportunity to snatch three points at Goodison Park, this is it. Take those bloody chances for once!!
Beliall Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 why no corner? and did the defender block that with his arm?
Charl91 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Cambiasso' passes over the top of the defenders are a bloody waste of time, if it actually gets weighted well enough to go over the defender and onto the onrushing striker it's usually right in the corner or somewhere pointless, Surely for someone with such an incredible footballing brain he would quickly realise we can't even do the basics right let alone the spectacular Yeah, screw trying to do something creative. He should do some more of those awesome sideways and backwards passes that we love to see.
bovril Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 why no corner? and did the defender block that with his arm? Because time ran out.
trabuch Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Good half for Leicester there. Let's see which manager wins the half time team talk battle.
Mark_w Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Good first half, well done Leicester. Love this formation.
BlueSi13 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 I don't want to hear anybody complain about the atmosphere at the King Power Stadium ever again.
josh_baskin Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Worst player on the pitch so far? Schlupp in my opinion!
HoustonFox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Why didnt he let us take the corner? Because we are too dangerous at set pieces.
iancognito Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 We're doing alright, pretty comfortable actually. Keep it as it is and don't even think about bringing on Ulloa. We're capable of grabbing something here without opening it up again like we did at Villa.
theessexfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Got in at about 35 minutes, listened to most of the first half on the radio, quite pleased we look in the game and we haven't conceded, stick away a chance and we could get something here.
Matt Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Meh pretty even match. Gotta say i'm pleasently surprised to see us go in at half time 0-0, so credit where credits due. We've probably had most of the attacks but they've come to nothing as no-one fancies helping Kramaric out. Everton have had the better quality chances though and I do feel they could, probably should be ahead.
NewquayFox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Decent first half, both teams not taking chances, still giving the bloody ball away though.....
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Not sure what some people are moaning about tbh. We've been reasonably solid, created one or two chances and could well have gone ahead. Lukaku has been dealt with quite comfortably so far. Cambiasso and James have broken things up in midfield quite well at times and when we get the ball down and start passing we actually look like a decent team. Kramaric looks like he is capable of a moment of brilliance at any moment and Schlupp is making a nuisance of himself. We're doing ok.
Mark Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Why didnt he let us take the corner? He might have done if Simpson hadnt took about 40 seconds to take two throw ins.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 It's so frustrating that when we get the ball on the deck and attack, we're actually quite good. The problem is that we so rarely do it. The odd 10 minute spell of going for it followed by allowing ourselves to be on the back foot for 15-20 minutes at a time.
ealingfox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 I know youre not allowed to give praise or say anything positive on here any more but that was actually a decent half. Pretty even game really, they've only had a couple of chances.
BlueSi13 Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Played some lovely stuff at times. Everton really do look like a shadow of the team from last year. But as ever....can we take our chances and bury them like we should have done to so many teams this campaign?
