Monsell1976 Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 I believe there was booing because people interrupted the ceremony.I believe a pitch invasion should be spontaneous, not let's do the pompous stuff first, then let them play on the grass.When tony James scored against Oxford, there was no way anyone was waiting to get on the pitch, ok that was staying up, even so if that had been promotion it happens when the fans want it. And that was a time when football fans and football was better, not hold everything off, whilst we put up a stage for the camera's, then lets get all the players families to enjoy a walk on the grass, oh and let's give them on the stands five minutes on the pitch when we have finished. There was no reason that the stewards couldn't have surrounded the stage, and all could have celebrated on the pitch.

From a health and safety standpoint will Wes be able to make it off the pitch when the invasion starts or will he do what he normally does when faced with a stranger running towards him and fall straight on his arse?
