Pretty stunned by how good Packers look today.

Obviously been expecting a good season especially after getting Parsons, but to be dominating Lions like this?

At what point does it all go wrong again? lol

Not quite sure who I loathe more right now the Jets or Rodgers.

Looks like he's still got it.

Good first half for the Packers against the Lions.

Looking forward to tonight's game with the Ravens at Buffalo.

My team the Bucs win a thriller at Falcons, they were brilliant & awful in equal measures but a divisional away win is all that counts.

I think it's going to be a fun ride following them this season

Are you the Angus Scott of itv's The Goal Rush fame?

The defense has been energised, which is what this team needed. It’s the Parsons effect! What could possibly go wrong!? 😎

Tremendous start by the Packers, the only fan-owned club in major American sports.

In other news, the Browns hold Joe Burrow and the Bengals to SEVEN yards in the second half -- and lose :crylaugh:

Massive win for the Niners at Seattle.

Just an absolute battle with 2 strong defences, and teams that don't like each other in a raucous atmosphere.

The Niners had so many flashbacks to last year with injuries and losing close games so would have had plenty of excuses to feel OK after a tight loss, so to pull through this feels huge for the team's mentality. (its weird to make a big deal out of week 1, but little to separate the 4 teams in the NFC West, so winning division games on the road will be a big factor come the end of the year).

I'm a Bills fan, but damn the Ravens are just too good.

Let's all laugh at the Ravens.

Gutting loss but what a game. Can't give Henry too much stick for how good he's been but that's a killer fumble.

Didn't look like we got enough pressure on Allen in general and the pass rush has been a weakness for a while now which is concerning, but it's good to see the O basically carry on as they were.

No doubt Bills and Ravens will be up there at the end of the season.

He looked untouchable at times, went from tearing through the Bills defence like it was wet paper, to fumbling like his hands are made of wet paper.

Still, Ravens are such a dangerous team, Lamar and Henry will cause some chaos this year…. Thank **** both are in my fantasy team 😂

Thought defensively Seahawks were okay. Kupp and Darnold disappointed, but I’m not expecting a huge amount from either this season. Don’t see Darnold as an upgrade to Geno. Silly mistakes like fumbling your final play won’t help.

I think it’s a shake of things to come this season, inconsistent, we will take points off some of the bigger franchises, but will also get beaten a fair few times too.

I thought the Seahawks D looked good. Restricting the Niners to 1 TD and a 2nd jump ball in the End Zone is not to be sniffed at. There was a stat at some point about the amount Purdy was pressured on his dropbacks being the highest % of his career.

Darnold impressed in his year as a Niner and killed us last year as a Viking, and Kupp gives me nightmares, so I wouldn't write them off. But the Seahawks offensive game plan just didn't seem right. They set out their stall to run and had some early success, but I think the Niners adapted to go all out to stop the run, and the Seahawks just kept trying it rather than looking to exploit the holes in the secondary. When they had to pass at the end of each half, Darnold was able to find those throws easily enough. And I wouldn't blame him for that fumble at the end: he was already starting his passing movement, and knew Bosa wasn't getting around his man...

But its early days - you can get a lot of odd results in week 1, and I don't know whether both defeces are very good or both offences are pretty average until they've had a few more matchups. (the SF offensive line might just be cr*p!)

Another week of wondering if I hadn’t of read that book about Joe Namath and the ‘68 Jets all those years ago Sunday nights could have been so very different. There might have been some enjoyment and hope.

How a team from a city like New York can be this appallingly average (I’m being kind) every single season is a mystery to

me!

Go Jets (Just End The Season!)
