Enough is enough

Recommended Posts

This is the thing, the fans are behind the team and for the majority of the time Pearson. Every game sells out, our away support is some of the best in the country. However if the management team continue with putting shit in (Morgan et al) they will get shit out.....pretty simple really. Every time the team starts in the 5 at the back with Morgan at the heart and poor old Kram up front on his jack jones we are at an instant disadvantage no matter how much we cheer and support.

Ok that's fair enough, although I think it's almost the right thing to play against the likes of Citeh and Arsenal. We created chances in both games and arguably could've taken some points from both games. To play it against Villa was criminal though and it will be if we line up like.it against Hull

like i said in a different thread yesterday i'm 100% sure some people dont want us to stay up because if we go down they can say "told you so".

they also don't want to enjoy themselves. they hate life, they hate football and they hate leicester city. why they are here i have no idea. get a new hobby imo.

i don't think we'll stay up anymore but i'm open to a surprise and i'm open to the idea of staying up. so let's go.

Yes people love watching us get beat every week, and pay good money to say " I told you so".

And people hate everything because the think your mate pearson is shit.

With comments like that you need to get a life, if you think those who don't rate Pearson are that sad.

people revel in it. that's a fact. posts treble or quadruple in pearson out threads, calamity morgan threads, post match threads after a loss etc. cos all the people who haven't said anything for a year cos we were doing well come back to revel in it.

And people hate everything because the think your mate pearson is shit.

so you're admitting people want the club to lose with pearson in charge?

With comments like that you need to get a life, if you think those who don't rate Pearson are that sad.

yeah not sure what that means but wicked.

Being negative makes some people feel better about themselves and that will

never change unfortunately.

Cmon una I think mist fans have been very realistic and loyal considering how bad the season has panned out.

Its just now being realistic.

All the stats (only 10 pts since the man u game, amounts of wins this season, errors costing goals,7points off safety, tactics, team selection, etc) don't bode well do they?

I'm sure no city fan enjoys hammering the team....if they do they are dumbos

No one can foresee the outcome of a football match - unless you're psychic or fixing the game. That's what so appealing about it - the anticipation.

You don't buy a ticket because you know your team's going to win - you buy one with the hope the team performs better than the opposition. Plain and simple.

If you don't like what's going on on the pitch, why punishing yourself on a regular basis by attending matches? Might as well stay home and leave your seat to someone just as passionate, but with more realistic expectations.

Ok I'm fully expecting to get slated for this and I know it's going to end up in another Pearson in/out debate but oh well....

We have 11 games to go, 33 vital points to fight for. Can we nit just all get behind the team and even the manager for the remainder of these games?

Yes it's been a major disappointment this season and its going to take an unbelievable turn in form and fortunes to drag ourselves out of it but what's the point in adding to the negativity? For the people wanting NP sacked, it's not going to happen from now until the end of the season so the constant moaning isn't going to change that or achieve anything positive. If we go down you will more than likely get your wish and you can give it all your "I told you so". For now how about supporting your team and hopefully lift them to do better.

To balance it, the 'Pearsonites', you can't deny that NP has found the step up to the prem very difficult and at times it has overwhelmed him. He has made mistakes tactically, in personnel and has had a few sketchy moments in the media spotlight. We still have a chance of staying up and at times we've looked a good side that have won many plaudits from pundits. Unfortunately kind words aren't points on the board and the majority of our good performances have been against the wrong clubs.

My point is can we just put the bickering to one side for the next couple of months and go into this with some fight and enthusiasm? We might continue to be frustrated and our support might be in vain but surely it's worth a try. I know some of you will say that what we write on here has no effect on performances but I do feel it creates a negative and almost poisonous atmosphere on our club

lol

3 threads?

On a serious note...I think you're aiming too high buddy. I think some people like to moan and that some people like to hit back at those who moan. Cest la vie

The best posters IMO are those who look to give a balanced view.

I usually post on here at present cos I like the betting thread..The rest of it usually just makes me laff now.

The to-and-fro of the 'pros' and the 'antis' has come to so dominate the forum that it almost makes it hardly worth discussing anymore.

To summarise my view:

We've been shocking (No-one will persuade me otherwise) and I still think we'll sneak survival (No-one will persuade me otherwise).

We have been for the most part shit, my point was more referring to people who seemingly wait until we are doing shit to comment and almost seem to take pleasure out of doing so. Some people are reactionary in an almost child like manner and it gets very tiresome. I fully respect people who put across a balanced view (although atm it more than likely won't be complimentary of the team) but our current situation is not something to be revelling in.

lol Posted it on my tablet (that's like a hand held computer old man :P ) lol

It's a sorry state of affairs though Col. It used to be a load of well reasoned posts and good discussions with the odd squabble in the mix. Now it just seems like a pointless stream of bollocks. People just making stupid statements which then become fact in their minds. Stupid nicknames for people that don't think the same way as yourself.

I didn't think for one minute that this thread woulf change anything though lol

"Being negative",  no, but being realistic, has proved to be completely correct so far, and I and many others, probably wont change. We will have to pray for a miracle to save us now.

Being realistic or not, we all want Leicester City to stay up.

This, for some people to say we are worse of now that at any point over the last 10 years is absurd, we have 32k stadium, a great fanbase, a lot of very good players, a chairman who knows how to run a business( and yes the club is a business whether we like it or not).  So for those comments are quite clearly untrue

Interesting..........the chairman may know about business but I believe they know naff all about football whoever is advising them needs sacking too.

If I was as good a salesman as pearson is at managing a team in this division I would have expected the sack months ago.

I'd say you're completely correct about what the owners know about football but....and here's the problem....Perhaps the person they've been trusting for advice is NP? After last season he appeared to be right about everything!.......December comes and things look bleak, the source of all knowledge (football) is suddenly appearing very flawed. Who are you going to call? and one things for sure, Ghost Busters aren't going to be any help.

Don't tell me how to follow my team, I follow city home and away even though we are shit, have done in the past, present and I'm sure I will in the future, doesn't mean I have to like what I see and I follow Leicester City not Pearson city.

And the post had no relevance to your post, I was replying to a stupid post saying people wanted us to get relegated, so they could say I told you so.

My point is why would you attend, and pay your money, only to wish your team to lose, if I ever felt like that, I would stay at home and save myself a fortune, but thanks for the advice.

Are you some sort of mind reader, you stated 100 % people want us to lose so they can say I told you so.

I will tell you something Pearson is not a premier quality manager by a long way, if you think I'm wrong, get the results up, and look at how many L's are at the end of the results.

You are you trying to be clever trying to twist words, which were clearly sarcasm.

You clearly have a low opinion of your fellow city fans, in your attempt to defend Pearson at this level, I don't know any supporter of any club that want they team to lose.

Leicester fans are like all fans over the world, they don't like being beat every week, and want somebody in charge of the team that can achieve not being beat every week.

Don't see the point in being negative, what a drain on your life and those around you

Of course no one likes losing, or saying you have to like it... but there's nothing to be gained by being like it & spreading it everywhere you go

An atmosphere conducive to successes, breeds those successes that you're trying to achieve

There's no need for happy clapping, or indeed any need to accept our current plight, but living & breathing negativity is counter-productive in comparison to everyone pulling in the same direction.
