  1. Sounds bloody awful.
  2. I don't think £50 return is that bad - I certainly wouldn't call it a fvcking disgrace anyway - but it's circa 200/225 miles. In my 17 year old golf that would cost me about £40 quid doing 70 all the way. Not sure what your last petrol car was but I would imagine most newish fairly bog standard cars can do similar MPG.
  3. Christ. Absolute dribble. Ghastly kit, ghastly copy.
  4. So many daft "fans" out there at the end, especially the twat throwing crisps at Pogacar and Vingegaard.
  5. I wish Kasper the best personally but I do find it disappointing to see him linking back up with that slimey happy clapper.

    When Taken

    #WhenTaken #135 (11.07.2024) I scored 847/1000 🎉 1️⃣ 📍 1301 km - 🗓️ 6 yrs - ⚡ 157 / 200 2️⃣ 📍 283 km - 🗓️ 1 yrs - ⚡ 189 / 200 3️⃣ 📍 2 km - 🗓️ 12 yrs - ⚡ 179 / 200 4️⃣ 📍 45 km - 🗓️ 0 yrs - ⚡ 198 / 200 5️⃣ 📍 1183 km - 🗓️ 19 yrs - ⚡ 124 / 200 https://whentaken.com Not too bad. Annoyed I got no. 4 confused with another place close by when I've been to both recently, should've got 200/200.
  7. Maybe it is because the name is an abstract concept associated with the Tories that was quite heavily pedalled throughout the last few years and labour don't want to be associated with that phrase? You said yourself it doesn't matter, it's a bit of paperwork. Why are you bothered?
  8. I must admit I'm struggling to see Labour not raising taxes for the majority of us somehow. What I'm not sure about is whether it comes quickly after they've done their due diligence and established how bad the public finances are and the public line is (rightly) blame the Tories, or whether or it's later down the line and far enough away from the election that they argue it's not breaking a promise is the question.
  9. Probably helps that they will have been fairly confident of a win and as such we're probably able to put more resource into planning.
  10. Like you say, there are boatloads who have had good seasons and hit good numbers but simply weren't good enough for the prem. Dare I mention Nicky Maynard. Or Craig Mackhail Smith. Or Jordan Rhodes. Just off the top of the head. I don't think we should be going for Szmodics.
  11. I must say this seems pretty shrewd business on the face of it. Canr say I'd seen much of him but Fulham fans sad to see him go, he has experience and is versatile. Feels like a good addition to our wide options Mavididi and Fatawu. Hopefully he can fill a bit of that void Albrighton had in terms of experience.
  12. It's over very quickly and then you feel really embarrassed..?
  13. I mean it doesn't, you wouldn't apply that to anyone normally.
  14. Trump became president with circa 3 million fewer votes (2% smaller share) than Hilary. I know the US system is different but still.
  15. I hear you. Although there were several, I think loneliness was the single biggest issue I had when I was really struggling. It's why talking is our most powerful tool.
  16. I've never had a panic attack but from what I've read/listened to they do sound like symptoms and they can be pretty bloody scary by all accounts - I'd mention this to a GP as I think treating or helping to manage panic attacks could be helpful regardless of whether medication or CBT or anything else is recommended for your more generalised symptoms. I was actually thinking about you the other day mate - I don't really know what to say but I really hope there is a more positive resolution to your situation.
  17. I am yes. Unless it's had a lot done it's probably going to be a D I'd have thought, maybe a C. Roof insulation likely the easiest thing to upgrade assuming it's got double glazing. After that there aren't really any quick improvements, you're looking at lining the external walls which is obviously faff whichever way you go.
  18. EPCs are a pretty blunt instrument as well for what it's worth and will often be based on significant assumptions unless it's a relatively new build. Do you know how old it is? What type of construction it is?
  19. I remember Bradford being sponsored by JCT600 when they were briefly in the prem, have they had them all this time?
  20. It's no longer being made, but I listened to quite a few episodes of a podcast called Anxiety Bites by a comedian called Jen Kirkman with various specialists. It won't solve anything but I find hearing/reading others talk about their experiences can be quite cathartic. Hopefully the diagnosis is positive for you bud.
  21. It's hard to tell whether Sunak is that much of a wet wipe that despite his absurd wealth that is true, or whether he is so detached he thinks he is appealing to someone. At least Ed Miliband actually ate sandwiches.. *Disclaimer - I like sandwiches as much as the next Brit but come on.
  22. What do you expect him to say? "I didn't want to leave, I was forced out of my boyhood club because they are in a financial hole. This place is bat shit crazy but I didn't have a choice and they're paying me a wedge. I might get some european football, that will be nice."

    When Taken

    Heh. Very repetitive. Can't be that hard to pick a wider range of cities/places with identifiers that aren't super obvious. #WhenTaken #126 (02.07.2024) I scored 766/1000 🎉 1️⃣ 📍 3614 km - 🗓️ 3 yrs - ⚡ 131 / 200 2️⃣ 📍 4610 km - 🗓️ 1 yrs - ⚡ 123 / 200 3️⃣ 📍 4 km - 🗓️ 4 yrs - ⚡ 196 / 200 4️⃣ 📍 115 km - 🗓️ 2 yrs - ⚡ 193 / 200 5️⃣ 📍 4313 km - 🗓️ 4 yrs - ⚡ 123 / 200 https://whentaken.com
  24. Kevin Pressman was pretty crap.
  25. Disappointed he's leaving but obviously it's been on the cards. I think the value is a little low and it is a strange one for Chelsea, I wish him the best but can't see him being a regular.
