Surely not! Very vardy-esk
-
We all need to hope for a faes masterclass and qualification here! Some sucker would sign him
-
Or maybe one that develops a little later? no need to write him off yet. 7 goal contributions in 5 games (for a relegation side) at least proves he’s above that level. It’s disappointing how it’s gone for him because he had a lot of promise about him at one point

Narrow 433 with mukasa replacing mav? -
It’s bloody hard to win games without a clean sheet and this backline just doesn’t look capable of it
-
Even last week (I assume you’re talking about Southampton), his lay off for mukasa was very smart and when he left that ball for aribo, had it gone in, he would have received huge praise for a smart decision.

Okoli and kristiansen both played in Serie A and did well. I have no idea how that league is worse than the championship but it must be. Kristiansen finished in the top 4 ffs

I don’t think you’re too far wrong in your assessment but he can’t learn without game time and even on Saturday, he vastly improved in the second half. -
Sheffield Wednesday relegated from Championship

I wonder what that feels like -
Mavidid has zero composure. You would be begging for daka after 10 minutes.

Leicester to appoint Martyn Glover as head of senior recruitment.

Not far off. For Enzo he got 80% right I’d say. Horrific signings in the prem, but you can easily argue the manager led the majority with his mandate, tbf the calamitous championship signing was Enzo led). I do think bilal and facundo were decent signings… but the rest was obviously tat. Even this season, James is very good. Carranza horrific. Ramsey, good player but unfortunate with the injury’s. I think he gets unfairly hammered because we are asking him to not just find talent but talent that is available on our very specific cash short terms. It’s genuinely hard to tell who he may have wanted because in order to get someone in the door, we need a deal structured in a way that most clubs simply won’t agree to. I just find that somehow we are quick to point the finger at him but he obviously isn’t completely incompetent because there’s some very good players that he’s targeted. Where would we be if we hadn’t got fatawu, hermansen, bilal, James. Look I’m not a big fan, and I have said this a few times and if you look at his history there is one glaring issue with Glover… he can’t sign defenders. Not just for us but in his other roles, he seems to do alright in other areas but he doesn’t have a single good defensive signing to his name in his whole career. I guess I just think he’s not quite as awful as some people suggest -

Nobody else took a punt on him Can hardly say an Italian youth player on the verge of the national team was a find either… but we’re still hammering him for that not working out -
You lot are weird. Thomas is shit but he wasn’t at fault today. He’s marking his man, so obviously he needs mav to take the full back who’s also come forward
-
For the first time this season, the reaction to the disappointment of conceding hasn’t been giving up, heads dropped they’ve actually attempted to go and win the game. We’ve not seen that this season, that comes from the manager.

He’s so odd because for every okoli he does find a Mukasa -

Miles better imo. Rowett will be a good choice for this group of sorry excuses -
So may individual errors today. There’s no confidence left at this club

I really think vk just fakes injury’s so he doesnt have to play for us
-
We have 2 players too good for this division and neither are available. Our squad is muck not sure what else he could do
-
I think history shows you more often than not, that when a player is the best player at this sort of age, no matter what level in England the step up isn’t that big. Just look at Ben Nelson. He didn’t even smash league 2, he was average to good over 2 spells. The only exception is when you have kick and run players, which Sammy is clearly not. If anything, to look this elegant and physical in league 2 is far more impressive because those guys just aim to kick lumps out of you. Id wager anything, he will be a top championship player minimum. Skepticism is fine, but I trust my eyes. This ain’t a player like Brandon cover. If you watch a full game, you’ll see exactly what I mean, you can just see he’s technically so far ahead of everyone else on that pitch and he’s only going to get better (if he stays healthy)
-
I just found it “Another midfielder, Sammy Braybrooke, 21, who made his First Team debut in the EFL Cup last season, sees his stay extended until at least 2027,“ sounds like we have an option to extend it then
-
I’ll have to research it but I remember posting saying it was great we gave him one on the back of his injury after he seemed to drop out of favour. I thought it was this summer, but plausible it was a one year deal but that seems unlikely it was announced in one of our batch releases of a lot of youth

In what minute does osmajic get sent off tonight then, first half? Racism? Biting? Headbutt? Or just an old school elbow to the face?

I think it’s the money owed to the bank and the wages committed that are the real issues. In our current state, even without the training ground there’s no feasible way to fund that stuff. Player asset wise, we are probably down to close to 60m. (Nelson, fatawu, some of the youngsters) I’m not sure there’s anyone else that we can genuinely make money on, the ones with value have too high wages and will run the contracts down. we mirror sunderland, which is why CM shouldn’t be sniffed at. When they went down they had a squad on orem wages that just weren’t good enough. They couldn’t shift them. The only real difference between the 2 is that sunderland didn’t have dodgy bank loans left right and centre. King power have spun a roultte wheel doubling down on red a few too many times and i think tops attitude in that interview says it all. Because if we don’t ’get Promote’ next year, he knows we are doomed
