Ever been ejected from a match ?
Mapperleyfox replied to VintageFox73's topic in Leicester City Forum
Haha i was also in their pop side among the chaos, i'd completely forgotten about the match and the associated carnage so thanks both for dragging the memory back up! If i remember correctly after it all went off we were marched in front of the stand and Derby were gobbing and chucking all sorts as we were escorted out. They were the days! -
So the sum total of his output having had 6 months to prepare for this window is a last ditch swap deal for Craig Dawson? That alone should see him collecting his P45 in the morning. What does he spend his working days doing? Why is he not being held accountable for what is unfolding as a systematic dismantling of our squad? If i were him i'd stay away from the ground next week for his own safety.

I'd like to know who scouted him and recommended him to us. What did they see that made them think he's worth £10m and £50k a week? Another example of why we are in the mess we are.

ditto for a stream cheers

Agree with most of the sentiment there Ric - do you really think the club will reinvest the money? Sounds like we need it to keep the lights on, I'll be surprised if Cooper sees a penny of the sale in his transfer kitty...good luck to KDH

I hope the senior team at the club (we all know who they are) are proud of the state that their scattergun, irresponsible decision making over the last 18 months or so has left the club in. What an absolute mess they've made. God knows what Vichai would think of it all....and the worst thing is they're all still here, making decisions, calling the shots, drawing a wage and laughing at us all....

All those acres of empty pink seats you had for decades before everyone jumped on the premier league bandwagon, I don't think you need a ground expansion. You might just about fill Meadow Lane or Field Mill if you fancy sharing with similar sized clubs...yours faithfully, the Trophy Capital of the East Midlands...

Preston Away - Monday 29th April - Pre Match

I'm having to change at Manc Piccadilly -
Unforgivable losing to this load of dog dirt. They’re abysmal, can barely string two passes together. Our quality in the final third has been terrible.

Coventry’s Obsession With Us
Mapperleyfox replied to Lineker's Left Foot's topic in Leicester City Forum
They've been obscure or mediocre for over 100 years apart from one day in 1987. No bigger than Wimbledon who achieved the same....look at some of their appalling crowds at the Ricoh in recent years. -
Bristol City 1 - 0 LCFC Post Match Thread
Mapperleyfox replied to KingsX's topic in Leicester City Forum
Does anyone think those players yesterday look like they’re up for this battle? Body language tells the story…shrugging shoulders, hands on hips, half hearted challenges. Not chasing lost causes. They’ve given up already….outfought by an extremely limited Bristol City with nothing to play for. The bare minimum is to put a shift in.- 506 replies

Either Greece, little village with a couple of tavernas on the beach or California, somewhere in the wine region or on the pacific west coast, Cambria is beautiful.

Is Tyson Fury one of the greatest heavyweights of all time?
Mapperleyfox replied to MPH's topic in General Football and Sport
Maybe in the top 20, nowhere near the top 10. He won't even fight the other top heavyweights in the division apart from Wilder, who can punch but can't box for toffee. Most of the top 70s and 80s heavyweights would beat him and he's not in the class of Lennox Lewis for example, who was one of the best of all time. -
He’s been absolutely dog dirt for 2 seasons. Offered nothing, as he’s even stopped winning the ball back. Hopefully we can get him off the wage bill and fool someone into paying a feasible fee.

No. In terms of talent versus attitude, desire and application this bunch of frauds are the worst ever by a country mile. With the exception of Vardy I can’t wait to see the back of them. We’ve had gutless players before but not on this scale and usually without the ability to go with it. Interestingly, if you were the manager of another club would you want to sign any of these fragile, uncommitted, lazy wasters who can’t perform under pressure?

Buenos Aires and Rio hands down

Whatever he was, he isn’t anymore. Abysmal footballer at this level, nowhere near good enough and shouldn’t start for us again ideally. Aside from a lack of ability his attitude has been off for months too. Get rid.

Nowhere near good enough. If you think any different i worry for you. Vardy has shot it too unfortunately which means we are desperate up front. Another challenge either now or in the summer. Vardy as incredible as he's been has gone now so we need to bite the bullet and get someone in.
