The squad size has been largely corrected. Wage bill much lower. Fringe players moved one - yes in hindsight it was a load of terrible signings we overpaid for but at least a lot of them have gone. Interesting to see how we manage Winks and Faes now they are here to stay. it’s a good window after a very poor window last year.

Fees for Justin and McAteer were good. Selling Ndiddi when he could have gone for free is also good business. Coady fee about right also. Moving on Woyo excellent. Mads fee I can just about understand given how many keepers were available. Bilal fee is a bit light but that is more in comparison to some of the incredible fees paid for attackers this transfer window. Some of the loans out of the young players should improve them also. It’s a pretty good window in terms out outgoings overall. we were always going to lose one or two of our better players

He’s only on loan - he’ll be back for pre-season.

The loan structure (assume with an obligation) might be PSR related, if so it implies we might not be in such a terrible financial state as we all think.

Alves, Bilal and Faes out. 2 in 1 striker and 1 CM. we’ll have about 10 players in random planes who fail to get moves.

Quite clearly a very good player, personally would rather he stayed as him, page, Monga, Fatawu and Mavi with a decent striker I’d probably back in the PL. This shows all that is wrong with transfer windows not ending before the start of the season.

Interesting to see who will play given we are so close to deadline day and Faes, Bilal, Kristiansen possibly even Daka all have clubs interested in them. Soumane guaranteed to start I reckon!

Our team has a toxic atmosphere and in many respects the starting 11 hasn’t really played together. Page, Monga, Abdul are almost like new signings. Okoli, Hamza, Jakub, Thomas, Soumane, Skipp barely played last season. We will get better over the course of the season a few more outgoings and 2-3 good players in and we’ll be a good side.

Faes needs to go from both a wages and attitude perspective. He’s not as bad a defender as some make out but is stinking the place out.

£10m would be very impressive. Get him gone

He’ll look at the light switch but stop short of actually moving towards it. We’ll just have to wait for the lightbulb to run out

£12m - well done Rudders. If this helps us keep Bilal or simply gives us money to get a striker in then it is great business

I think most of us on here would prefer to see the likes of Soumane, Skipp, Winks, BDR and even Hamza go before him but it’s much harder to get rid of your overpaid dross. I’d love to keep Kasey and sell the above but it isn’t going to happen.

Want him to do well but Abdul, Mavi and Monga are all above him. I think he could improve but needs to play week in, week out and work out where his best position is. just means game time for BDR….

I get that everyone, fans, players, owners are frustrated and I even get that players do in part feed off the crowd but the difference is that fans pay money and the players get paid. Do your job to the best of your abilities and the fans will follow. That’s all that needs to be said.

For context, while we sold players last time Enzo was backed by the signings of: Winks, Coady, Mads,, Cannon, Mavididi, Abdul, Doyle, Yunus and Casadei. It’s not his team. Apart from playing Soumane he hasn’t done a lot wrong

Sell Needs to sell the last two before I give him his dues. Good to see interest though.

A brave choice would be Page and Winks in CM. i’d consider starting Daka just to press. CBs I’ve got no idea after the first two games!

We may need money but we also need points. Keeping Bilal is worth a 6 point deduction in my book. him and Winks (yes he hasn’t been a model pro) are who the team should be built around and both could go.

Faes, Vesty, Winks should all have been captain material but are not and at least two of those don’t want to be here. Souttar could well be a leader once the current lot are gone and he is fit but he probably won’t play. I’d be tempted with Ayew or just retiring the captain’s armband until we have someone who deserves it!

I do think we are doing what the rules are intended for - I.e selling players and reducing the wage bill. You’d hope that merits a lenient punishment.

While PSR is important so to is reassessing where we are as a club and the fact that we simply can’t play inflated salaries anymore (we are not trying to break into the big 6). I think it’s as simple as a better balancing of the books - rather than being led solely by PSR. The players on 80k or so just need moving on.
