Yeah, we did last night and more so than usual But overall, football generally isn’t as blood and guts as it used to be and the demographic has changed to more supporters being more passive save for cheering a goal And we have been spoilt over the last decade and although we are still being spoilt results wise, football at the top level just isnt the spectacle it used to be

Good point Things that stir a crowd other than goals imclude chances on goal, a player beating a man or putting in a meaty tackle or executing a particular bit of skill or a great save Now the game seems a bit more like watching a game of chess than a football match - interesting but often not edge of the seat or passion inspiring stuff
