  1. Hopefully you’re watching, Carlitos just exudes fun & enjoyment. And white needs its black. If you have also caught this and the last 2 grand slam finals, they must exude some charisma as De Niro, Hoffman, Spike Lee, Odell Beckham, Tony Parker, Antoine Dupond. Henry Cavill, Nicole Kidman, Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott, Keira Knightley, Chris Hemsworth, Helen Mirren, Stormzy, Jodie Comer, Seb Vettel The orange one, Mulder😀 Danny De Vito probably think there is something in this. Only my opinion and the other tennis fans can agree/disagree, but this quality is OFF the scale, we should just really enjoy & appreciate. Sportsmen totally at the top of their game.
  2. They're just lazy, its been moaned about on here for 4-5 seasons if not longer. You make a great point. I missed the cup final coz of that type of issue, I missed the 1st season of 50pts, went to about 30 aways AND yet I think you needed 402 at the time, so IF you had been to Wembley for the United Charity Shield and ONE other away then you could go to the Cup final and I couldn't, think I was on 400 or 401 at that point. As in your case, even more of an issue now, There could be thousands at 100pts, 200pts, 300pts, yourself at 460 (with plenty of aways already) AND YET, fastest finger get there before you and you've done the hard yards. Even a few years ago, its was getting out of date for Europe, season Anno Domini is promotion 2014/15, time to revisit Ticket Office and Club hierarchy.
  3. Stood last night, really enjoyed great show, great gig, probably better than the Ricoh, 10 or 12 years ago, took my son and he loved it, stood on the NEW hallowed turf, Cricket team weren't far away Rooooooooootttt, Brook, Carse, Bethell etc. Noel & Liam got a mention and will be off to see them there at the end of the month. Tell you what ticket prices have gone up somewhat & we paid face value standing, saw Queen in 86 & Jacko 3 times between 88 & 97 and the last two gigs were £25 & £26.75, met some Swiss lad at Wembley Park and he had paid £330 for his ticket including an £80 add on. That Inflation is a killer.
  4. His first game was our blue on blue in the crowd scrapping 6-2 defeat at the Tottenham stadium, with our at that point great record of defending corners defence. Was all downhill after that
  5. Kevin or Nigel are sure fire winners
  6. And fill some of the corporate boxes, money being lost there too!!
  7. Golf fan hey!! Go on Europe, will be glued all weekend
  8. Maybe its the clash with the 1st day of the Ryder Cup AND getting back is a mare at that time
  9. And thats going well at the Blades this season if not before, now competing with Danny Ings
  10. Its one of those ones where you can see both sides. Don't think it was unreasonable to ask him to stay one night, BUT do we actually all know the clear truth on this OR was it Rudd just having a problem with him, hanging him out to dry to get what he wanted, and now most have judged and he is getting the brown stuff thrown at him from the fans when in reality, it is slightly unfair??? Would it have killed him to acquiesce, obviously based on what happened. He is VERY privileged, and when he's retired earning much less he might see he was a bit of dick about it. Thought he was very good the last time we got promoted, for whatever reason when Enzo left he lost his mojo, IF everything we saw was true about Copenhagen again he was a dick on that, BUT it could have been a set up with him etc. He's got his reputation now with the fans, which is a shame for the club and him, I hope he makes the effort, certainly at this level, on most of his days he is one of our best calming, inventive, sensible midfielders.
  11. Anybody know how many are left for this currently?
  12. Its been said above but those insitu in the squad, need to decide what they want their next year/season to be. Do they want to play and be committed or sit on their arses for the next 9 months, choice is theirs? Best available possible team Stolarcyk Ricardo Faes Vestergaard Thomas James Winks Fatawu Ramsey Mavididi Carranza Hamza has been decent at right back this season, Okoli & Nelson can be relied on, like to see what VK has to offer again, at this level He's pinned his colours on Soumare a bit, so he may be guaranteed a run, and has been better, Monga absolutely impact 30 mins sub, and Daka gives you work rate and press last 20-30, Ayew has some quality and experience So there is depth and that was crucial 2 years ago, better teams had subs that could be brought on that keep the level high/changed the game
  13. Optimistic We can’t be anything else, I presume we all want to be promoted, let’s hope what we have added helps us get there, we are in a much better financial position. MAYBE Rudkin has learnt from the last 2 summer windows Last year was a true disaster, possibly the worst ever This somewhat readdressed that car crash, but still transfer work to do, but we are a weaker playing squad than 2 years ago. Fingers crossed, let’s get behind them
  14. There's been a few thenAll decent too, encouraging. I'm really excited by his purchase, really hope it works, and he gets a good 15 or more
  15. Or the "Earthquake" Ulloa goal, didn't our south American hero hail from the land of the flag with the Sol de mayo?
  16. Has he already got that "What have I done" look on his face??
  17. Though loans would be a GREAT approach isn't it somewhat revealing about our current financial approach?? The funny thing is that its like they suddenly woken up as to how approach bringing players in. IF Only they had taken this approach this time last year: Skipp=Loan with option to get rid (quickly) BCDR=Loan to get rid when he disappears (Jan 25) Ayew=Loan to get rid when he thinks he runs the team (Aug 25) Edouard=Loan to get rid when he stops playing more than 1 min in a game (Oct 24) Coulibaly=Loan to get rid when he stops playing (Feb 25) Michael Golding= Loan to get rid IF we ever seem him (Aug 24)
  18. TBF my lads 22 in a couple of weeks, most of last season he called him Andre Ayew
  19. Is it going to reach 630??? I had to sit in the home end last time When Harry scored at the end
  20. IF Harry is staying we have to get him onside, he came on for a few mins last week, and just added a level of calmness and quality to the proceedings and I have to say he looked bothered on the pitch, he had one great run near the end to keep possession, when thats what we needed, he's top level at this level. Skipp is shocking and Soumare plays in fits and starts (more fits) but has no "football sense" A player of Winks quality would be a major negative if in the squad and not playing IF here till the end of the season.

  22. But in all seriousness with 4 days to go, is ANYBODY coming in??? OR do we get Charlton revisited 17 times or whatever till Jan???? I mean the lucky performance not the win
  23. Surely he took on LEGENDARY Status after Dyer's goal!!!
  24. Yup Didn't we have 1pt out of the first 7 games? They have 5 games to go, might be a bit early..... Just as the Champs looks to be more competitive this season So the bottom of the Prem does, lot of money spent, but West Ham have still got some very good players AND a January transfer window if things are looking rocky Man Utd remind me more of us from 22/23
