  1. For quite a few other fans though, it probably ruins their weekend. I’ve completely changed my mindset as the season has gone on, just concentrate on other things I enjoy, and don’t let Leicester bother me like they used to. I agree that this time around feels very different. Last time around we went through a period of being bang average to shit, which eventually led to League 1. Now it’s literally a fall from grace, an unprecedented downfall of epic proportions. Things have become toxic to the point where a large chunk of the fanbase are either feeling apathetic, or are seething with anger about the constant failings at this club. I just listened to what Matt Piper said after the match yesterday, agreed with every word, this club is unrecognisable nowadays. We’ve had some shit teams over the years, but this bunch of players are different, as you said, a loser mentality has been ingrained into them. I’ve said it many times this season, this is the most unlikeable Leicester City squad I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately I don’t see how Top sells up at this moment in time, I mentioned it in a post a few weeks back, Henry Winter made a great point in his interview with the BSLB podcast. How do you walk away from a place that has a shrine to your father. But this is where other members of the board need to step up and take some accountability. Where the fvck is Jon Rudkin and why don’t we here from him? Imo he needs to come out, take some accountability and tell us what the hell is going on. If not, then considering he’s been here for about 30 years, if he actually cared about the club, then he’d step aside. I really don’t know what the outlook is going forward, managers, new players, recruitment, it all needs to change. Recruitment especially has been a shambles, and is one of the key reasons why we’re in such a mess. They clearly don’t do background checks when it comes to player’s mentalities and their attitudes. We’ve recruited too many players with a shit mentality, and now we’re paying the price. As you say, all we ask for is effort and pride. Some fans can come out and say “Back the lads”, Leicester’s social media team can come out and offer a rallying cry for our support, but how are we meant to support and “back the lads”, when this squad gives fvck all back. You look at teams like Oxford and Portsmouth, they are producing effort and grinding things out, to the point where their respective fanbases can get behind them. We don’t get that from this team, all we see is a spineless set of players who look like they can’t wait to leave. As Matt Piper said yesterday, the day that the majority of these players leave, “Good riddance to them”.
  2. Rory taking us on a rollercoaster, we’ve seen this script before Keep this up, then I might have to buy some nappies for tomorrow.
  3. Some excellent posts in here, in particular @Swarles Barkley and @Sampson It’s personally reached the point for me where I don’t allow Leicester to ruin my weekend. Apathy started to set in years ago, now it’s reached boiling point. After seeing us go 1-0 down today, I just laughed and shrugged, and got back to concentrating on other sports. For the first time as a Leicester fan, I literally cba and fail to care. What is sad though, is plenty of fans feel that exact same way. There’s been plenty of posters on here in recent months, who have been supporting Leicester and have been on this forum longer than I have, stating that they just don’t care and won’t bother renewing their season tickets. This club has become so rotten, it’s turning away fans who have been going since the 70’s-80’s. We’ve seen some big clubs get destroyed in recent years, we’re well on course to be the next one. Bolton, Wigan to name a few, I can easily see us going through what they went through.
  4. Last month Rowett came out and said “I need to look at players I can trust throughout, not just once or twice”. Throughout the whole season barely any of them have been trustworthy. Unsurprisingly since he made that comment, this squad continue to be an untrustworthy bunch of wasters. Top, Rudkin, recruitment have assembled the worst squad in Leicester City history, with the most unlikeable set of players. Today’s goal just showcased how embarrassing this team has been. Every player who moves on this summer, if they ever return to the King Power stadium in future, they deserve all the boos and hate that will inevitably come their way.
  5. Reed 1st, Fleetwood 2nd It’s materialising already
  6. Has to be Challinor if we can afford him and Stockport don’t go up. But they’ll probably go cheap for someone like Alan Sheehan.
  7. No managers that fit the ‘winner’ mould were taking the job back in February. Rowett was a realistic understandable option. But if we do drop, if Stockport fail to get promoted, Challinor is about the only one in that division that enamours me. If we can’t afford to get him out of Stockport, then who’s left? Wellens? Has he done enough at Leyton Orient to warrant the Leicester job? Imo he hasn’t. But you look at teams like Lincoln, Cardiff, Luton taking chances on managers who have stepped up from assistant/coach roles. Knowing us, we’d probably just give it to Andy King. I’ve asked this question on here before, if Rowett did keep us up, do you really want to build with Gary Rowett in charge? He set solid foundations at Millwall, but Alex Neil has come in and kicked them on. Rowett as a more long term option just doesn’t get the juices flowing. If we do stay up, I think both the club and fanbase would be happy if we looked elsewhere. But if we go down, as I said in my previous post, on paper, Gary Rowett in League 1 kind of makes sense, especially if you look at the type of managers that litter League 1. But regardless of what league we’re in, I just don’t think our board would see Rowett as a viable long term option, even more so with James McCarron coming in as Sporting Director.
  8. For where we were in the league, his appointment made sense, if we were mid-table when Marti left, then I don’t think Rowett would’ve been in the conversation. After a few early encouraging signs, it’s just gone back to being shit, proper alarm bells started to ring again when we lost to QPR. The most frustrating thing about Rowett is the fact he hasn’t changed it, same formation, rinse and repeat. Of course he isn’t solely to blame, as this squad has a serious mentality problem. He hasn’t rectified it yet and time is running out. If we end up in League 1, who on earth do you turn to? On paper, Rowett could easily be seen as a decent option for that level, League 1 is currently littered with managers who either have experience in the lower leagues, or novices who have stepped up from being an assistant/coach.
  9. Been a complete mixture over the years, but it’s going to be very difficult to replicate last years rollercoaster. A few of the European’s have been in good form lately to make you feel optimistic, but my head is saying an American winner. Morikawa(If healthy) and Cam Young would be my picks.
  10. Leicester 3-0 Swansea - Ayew hat-trick Pompey 0-3 Leicester - Ayew hat-trick Leicester 3-0 Hull - Ayew hat-trick Leicester 3-0 Millwall - Ayew hat-trick Blackburn 0-3 Leicester - Ayew hat-trick
  11. Even though we could get relegated by the end of the month, April is always my favourite month of the year, The Masters followed by the World Snooker Championship, perfection But after last year’s euphoric rollercoaster, I’m getting bad vibes for this year. I can see someone like Tommy getting pipped by one shot by someone like Patrick Reed
  12. Phenomenal achievement to win all three players series events in the same season. Zhao is really starting to build that aura about him where players are fearful, bit like Littler in Darts and Sinner and Alcaraz in Tennis. But the Crucible does funny things to players, roll on the next few weeks
  13. Walking to the ground and I’ve just seen a guy in a sausage roll t-shirt
  14. Be patient mate. This thread will be cooking with Snooker refs in a few weeks time 🔥
  15. Hopefully they can fit some free sausage rolls into the equation too 🤞🏻
  16. So that sausage roll t-shirt has already been discontinued, I was hoping to add it to my collection alongside the King Power basketball vest and the King Power Cuban shirt, shame.
  17. Is that your own AI creation
  18. If we go down Tommi O’Reilly - Aston Villa(Currently on loan at Crewe) Will no doubt make a step up next season whether permanently or loan. 1st for assists, 3rd for big chances created in League 2 this season.
  19. Thursday 30th April ”Leicester City are pleased to announce that Jordan Ayew has signed a one year contract extension”.
  20. Thank god, brilliant news https://www.wst.tv/news/2026/march/24/world-championship-stays-at-the-crucible-/
  21. This quiz proved why I never cared about Demarai Gray
  22. Laughable standard in this final(In a good way) Thepchaiya just dropped in a 147 with ease.
  23. Poor guy is looking like a player who isn’t having fun this szn.
  24. Very much looking forward to seeing him become the top goalscorer in the Qatar Stars League next season.
