That may be true but it seems some blokes are willing to 'break in' a girl but do not like it if another bloke does it first. If you want a virgin stay one yourself. It works both ways. How many women would ask a bloke if they are a virgin and refuse to marry them if not? My mum first married in 1949 when she was 18. My dad was 23 I think. He'd been overseas in the war so don't know if he had experimented. My mums second marriage was after she had had five kids so obviously she was not a virgin then. I don't think my step-dad minded even though he was old fashioned in some ways. My remark on the century was more to do with the 'get her tested' attitude as if the woman was a piece of property.

There does seem to be a difference between how certain races treat women and relationships, arranged marriages, being anti interracial relationships etc. Views that are considered backwards by the majority in the UK at least.
