Tom's Pasta Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Good stuff from our club, and it's not as if they've done it to make a point about how they look after fans to everyone, they've just done it to honour two of our most loyal fans which is how it should be
Raj Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Great from City. In times when all we go about is money this proves we e have great owners and a great club. No doubt some time it's will still say something negative but nothing will keep them happy anyway. Well done LCFC....now avoid relegation you bastards!!!!
Bettsj2 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 That actually gave me goosebumps. The club get lots of stick over lots of things but that is fantastic.
Crinklyfox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Congratulations to those at the club that made this decision. You've made me proud that City is my club for more than footballing reasons.
Corky Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 The club is really good for things like that, as well as attending funerals, marking achievements, the annual Bernard Murphy tribute. Behind the scenes we have a fantastic set-up.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Fantastic to hear indeed... shows how good our club and owners are, they know how important the fans are to the club that is for sure...
Larry_LCFC Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 This just made TheSportBible. Good accidental publicity for the club
dorsetfox35 Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 That's amazing for the club to do that, brought a tear to my eye reading it,and having lost my mum n dad who where Leicester fans till they died, it's so hard
harpendenfox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 and just to add a wonderful little moment I witnessed outside the main entrance on Saturday at around 6pm. A man and his son, the young lad in a wheelchair, shouting at Kingy and asking him to sign a couple of autographs. Our man, just an hour after scoring a crucial goal, takes the time to chat to them, sign loads of things, have his picture taken, all that kind of stuff. I know it didn't cost Kingy anything, but it was the grace with which he did it all. Really impressive and for me capped a wonderful wonderful afternoon
lifted*fox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Great gesture from the club. Makes the people complaining about the £20 birthday announcement rubbish look pretty stupid. When something actually matters, our club are pretty damn good at recognising it and doing something appropriate and proportionate about it. Hopefully Granddad will be enjoying another season in the Premier League next season with his wife there in spirit.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Lovely gesture. Sorry to hear of your loss.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 My hayfever is playing up tonight, well that's my excuse Genuinely heartwarming gesture
