Benguin Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 Such a sad story but a lovely gesture by our football club.
Jakemoore Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 Sad story, but happy to know that his Grandad won't be alone in the stands. I love our club.... It's a brilliantly run Football club and we should all be proud to be a part of it.
22BLUE Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Don't often post on here, but this is such a great story. Good to know that someone within the club cares.
Max Power Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Very nice. I also like that the club haven't seemingly made a thing of it publicly.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Bet you that was Jim. Hes the only bloke with any sense there. Apart from Pearson. Great gesture
Strokes Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 The best part is that they weren't seemingly prompted in anyway or haven't seeked publicity. A truely nice gesture.
Bayfox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Nice to hear the football club at times get something right. I would agree with the earlier post tho. Bet Jim had something to do with it. He really does seem the most genuine guy.
Ashley Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Our club really does look after families who have lost people, even opposition fans such as the Everton fan who died 12 years ago every year the lads family receives a bunch of flowers on the anniversary of his death. Makes me proud to support our club. Leicester till I die
NewquayFox Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Sad but touching story, hope your Grandad enjoys many years watching the City....
Xen Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Fantastic stuff. And as Strokes said, the club hasn't done this with any sort of publicity in mind. Its purely an act of generosity and heart-warming to hear. Things like this make me proud to be a foxes fan
Guest Bilo Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 I love our club. There really are some great people working behind the scenes. Fantastic gesture.
desmo666 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 fantastic thing to do, and done the correct way, who ever it was has made many people happy and proud to be part of the lcfc family. top job.
blue army 1988 Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Our club and the owners are pretty top notch
StanSP Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Top stuff. Another reason to love the club. Our club.
Gingerballs Posted 18 April 2015 Posted 18 April 2015 Not many people know that every year since the death of the Everton fan on his way to the ground, the club send his family a bunch of flowers and a letter. And they were invited down on the tenth anniversary
