LCCFox96 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 It will be a tough game this weekend, as we can't deal with pace very well, but how easy you lot seem to think it will be is very interesting. Well given what Zaha and Bolasie did a few games back in Crystal Palace's 4-1 win, this could be key. If we keep it tight at the back then we can be confident that Vardy, Schlupp, Mahrez and Albrighton will cause problems for them. Cambiasso and Mahrez playing the defence splitting passes into the channels could be a very successful route to a goal for us, especially if Wes Brown and John O'Shea start at CB, because by Sunderland fan's own admission they can't deal with pacey opposition forward players.
SunderMan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Nothings gone to our heads and I don't think anyone thinks it will be easy as such. But we all know you are shit and we are better than you so that helps. The way most are talking, we might as well not turn up. It will be a lot harder than you seem to think.
Stevosevic Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 The way most are talking, we might as well not turn up. It will be a lot harder than you seem to think. Nobody is saying it will be easy, i think most are saying you've been extremely fortunate in those two wins against Soton and Everton so we have nothing to fear and should go there to play our own game.
kingcarr21 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 The way most are talking, we might as well not turn up. It will be a lot harder than you seem to think. I think you will find most people on here believe it to be a tough game. Any game away from home is tough in the prem. The way we have been playing recently has certainly filled us with belief and confidence but any sane leicester fan will know this wont be an easy game. My prediction. A tough battle with maybe a red card thrown into the mix. My head says a draw but if Vardy has a good game i can see a penalty coming our way and us snatching a win. Head. 1-1 with Ulloa and Defoe scoring Heart. 2-1 Leicester With Vardy winning penalty and Ulloa converting
SunderMan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Heart. 2-1 Leicester With Vardy winning penalty and Ulloa convertingWill scoring penalty to win a game make it a lucky win and you being underserving of the 3 points? Or will this just be part and parcel of a game of football that you will have been worthy of winning on the day? It's confusing on here.
Gerard Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 You have either been misinformed or talking absolute rubbish. Probably both. I've lived in Sunderland for 26 years and I've never heard of Asda giving away tickets to Sunderland matches. But I'm sure you know better than me. I've been spending £400+ for a season ticket all these years when I could have got a match ticket every week with my weekly shop. No the wonder I'm broke! Also, I'm not going to come on here and start comparing crowd sizes as that's too 'Newcastle' for me, but the way a lot of you are going on on here absolutely stinks of an inferiority complex. Don't mind leicester, I quite like to see small clubs overachieve every now and again, but let's not get carried away here, your still Leicester City not Barcelona. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season and I hope you stay up, just not at our expense. Also, if you could keep those tin-pot, plastic clappers at home this weekend that would be fantastic. They're tacky, absolutely embarrassing and have no place in the premier league or English football for that matter, Thanks. SEETHING
Stevosevic Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Will this make it a lucky win and you being underserving of the 3 points? Or will this just be part of a game of football that you will have been worthy of winning? It's confusing on here. We had a lucky win against Burnley and a late winner v West Ham when the performance merited a win, we even missed a penalty so maybe we were unlucky? Late winner against WBA but again, the performance was there. Our wins against Swansea, Southampton and Newcastle were comfortable. Your wins against Southampton and Everton were poor performances and 4 fortunate goals (every neutral and pundit agrees) so yes that is lucky. It's not difficult to understand. Play well and a goal at any time is not lucky. Play poorly and fluke goals is lucky.
SunderMan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 SEETHING Not seething at all just genuinely find it hard to believe I'm reading a Leicester City forum and not a Chelsea one. Absolutely baffling.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I tell you what, tin-pot clappers is a great idea, they're loud enough as they are just made from card
Finnegan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Oh look, a generic sour northerner on the troll. "I'm not going to get in to crowd numbers but you're a tinpot little club with embarrassing clappers" guffaw. Off to show all his Geordie/Mackem (listen, there's no ****ing differenc) mates how a bunch of Leicester fans on their forum bit. Literally never seen before in the history of the internet.

We scored two penalties that were absolute stone-wallers, and they got a red card for bringing Defoe down in a goal scoring opportunity. That's not lucky, that's how football works.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Boy? Who are you Nigel Pearson? If it was Nigel, he'd have called you an ostrich
Ollie93 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Our win against Southampton wasn't lucky though, we deserved it. Your win against Everton was as lucky as they come.
Babylon Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Also, if you could keep those tin-pot, plastic clappers at home this weekend that would be fantastic. They're tacky, absolutely embarrassing and have no place in the premier league or English football for that matter, Thanks. You're right.... we should stop using them and sit in stoney silence or just walk out at half time like your lot. You might think they are "embarrassing", most people on here did. But they have done the job and increased the atmosphere when they players needed it most... Go and ask fans of Newcastle, Swansea, Saints, Chelsea etc who had the best atmosphere this year. The answer will not be Sunderland.
Gerard Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Not seething at all just genuinely find it hard to believe I'm reading a Leicester City forum and not a Chelsea one. Absolutely baffling. For a fan of a club who haven't won anything for forty years and have only ever made up the numbers in the top flight you're attempts at patronising us are comical. No one gives a **** about Sunderland outside the North East just like no one gives a **** about Leicester outside the Midlands. Laughable that we're some small plucky club and you're some sort of sleeping giant. You're completely deluded and think you're constant relegation battles for eight whole seasons make you Premier League royalty. You're history is comparable with ours FFS.
lgfualol Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Not seething at all just genuinely find it hard to believe I'm reading a Leicester City forum and not a Chelsea one. Absolutely baffling.Your forum would be exactly the same if you won 6/7 games. We've won nearly as many games since the start of April as you have all season - how can you be so shocked we are all buzzing and confident. In addition, your forum seem to be reading all these posts so can't they see there are comments being made especially to make you all annoyed?
Babylon Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Our win against Southampton wasn't lucky though, we deserved it. We scored two penalties that were absolute stone-wallers, and they got a red card for bringing Defoe down in a goal scoring opportunity. That's not lucky, that's how football works. Except every pundit on the planet said it was never a red card. Did you stay to the end for that game?
Babylon Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 "We don't get free tickets from Asda" Nope but it's bring a mate for a tenner day against us. Last game of the season with lots riding on it and it's discounted ticket day.
SunderMan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Your win against Everton was as lucky as they come. Absolutely. Matt Taylor slipping, and therefore missing a crucial penalty and you going down the other end to score was also lucky. What's the difference?
Babylon Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 The funny thing is... there was only about 5 people who said anything against Sunderland and they act like everyone who supports Leicester is a deluded tool.
Stevosevic Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Absolutely. Matt Taylor slipping, and therefore missing a crucial penalty and you going down the other end to score was also lucky. What's the difference? Anyone said that wasn't a lucky win? No i don't think so.
Finnegan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Absolutely. Matt Taylor slipping, and therefore missing a crucial penalty and you going down the other end to score was also lucky. What's the difference? Diddly squat on paper. In reality, your win over Everton was the single spawniest victory in the history of sporting competition and if it actually relegates Hull, the entire population of that Yarkshir black hole should sue the universe and forever abandon ambition to play the round ball game again.
Ollie93 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Absolutely. Matt Taylor slipping, and therefore missing a crucial penalty and you going down the other end to score was also lucky. What's the difference? Personally I just think you're a bit jealous of our position and how we are playing..

Our team is shit and we haven't won anything for 40+ years? Agreed. No one gives a **** about Sunderland outside the North East? Just like no one hives a duck about Leicester out side of the midlands? Agreed. Although I would say going off your attendance history, not that many people IN Leicester give a **** about Leicester. Our history is comparable to yours? Absolutely laughable.
