Stevosevic Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 From what i've been told he needs to sort his head out
fuchsntf Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 No loan deal.!!! Next season he has to show he wants it.Lets see now what he can do We dont know what Huth will decide. Wasi, is my player of the season, see if him and Liam can work with each other, in closed season. Marcin might still give us 2-3 seasons, the last part most likely not has 1st choice, but his presence especially over next season, will allow us, again to swap between the two. If Liam does realise his potential should not defer from the fact we still need a quality CB. If Huth was the so called catalyst for our EOS run, that was because Marcin was the rock. Morgan, Huth, Wasylewski, are aging, Moore gives us the youth and future, lets get behind him. All CBs make mistakes, even some clangers, ie J.Terry, Adams, The R.Moore.
Foxymcoxy Posted 20 May 2015 Author Posted 20 May 2015 From what i've been told he needs to sort his head out What have you been told, and who by? If this is the case then I'd definitely keep him here with Nige.
hackneyfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Why are some people so certain that Morgan will continue as captain and play first team football if NFP is still with us? Surely he's going to kick the best available not his favourites? Does anyone actually think that Morgan is irreplaceable?
Clever Fox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Moore would learn brilliantly off Huth, his game would come on heaps and bounds playing alongside him..... its a shame his main teacher has been Morgan who himself looks clueless without Huth. well said that has been a problem for him which is one reason why he's been farmed out. I think his main problem is he's not that tall like the modern centre backs which will work against him. But he can kick on to the next level if he's committed to learning. The fact that he's held his England place is a bonus.
Kitchandro Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I think he's blown it for the time being. He's going to be 4th, possibly 5th choice next season.I'd like him to stay and develop because he does have promise but he'll have to wait his turn.
TOMBlcfc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Looking at the squad I'm afraid to say it but I think he'll be dropped when they cut it down to 23

TOMBlcfc Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 He's home-grown though.Does that affect it? Sorry haven't really looked into the regulations
Foxymcoxy Posted 20 May 2015 Author Posted 20 May 2015 Does that affect it? Sorry haven't really looked into the regulations Yeah it does, the rule is something like "no more than 17 players who are not home-grown". Then the actual limit is 25, plus any u21s. Unless it's changing this year?
Richard Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Let's be honest Morgan, Wasyl and Huth have 2 seasons left tops most likely. Maybe an extra for Huth. We should be looking at getting Moore ready for filling those places in the next 12-18 months

MooseBreath Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Appears to have let himself down this season in what was a massive opportunity for him to step up. Still time for him to make amends and I'd be happy to give him another chance at the club, but he can expect to be down the pecking order and will need to get his attitude right pre-season.
4everfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I think we need to stick with this back three next season and there must surely be a place in the squad for Liam. I reckon six defenders for three positions is about right so Huth, Morgan and another new signing (Kaboul? Agger?) as the regulars. Wasilewski, Moore and De Laet as the competition.
Haydos Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I'll post what I did an another thread about Huth or something... Hopefully he stays on. The lad has shown he's got ability, he needs to get his head down and concentrate on learning. Not getting into the team, not impressing the manager, not his England career. Just learning. Me personally, I would keep him at the club, show him that he's wanted and try and get him playing the same way the rest of our CB's have been. If he wants to go out on loan to push himself at some point then fair enough and if he's doing well enough to have a crack in the team then all the better. I still believe he's good enough.
Suffolk exile Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 Definitely the case he his career has gone backwards in the past season - would love to see him come back better. He has some great role models in Huth, Was and Wes.
smudgerfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I think Pearson will want a left footed centre back plus Huth. I'd have Huth Morgan and new left footer as first choice with moore and Was as back up. We need a left back to play if we need to revert to four at the back. Upson won't be required.
Witch Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I can't believe any supporter could seriously have Moore or Morgan over Wasilewski after what they have seen over the last two years. Feel sorry to Was, people seem to want to shunt him out no matter how well he performs. I think him and Huth are the most important two to be in that defence for next season. Amen.
LilPablo Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 How is he in the U21 squad when he is 22? Believe its taken from the time the squad start playing qualifiers. So he was possibly 20/21 at the time they started qualifying for the tournament and is therefore eligible. I think there may have been cases of 24 year olds being able to play.
LCCFox96 Posted 21 May 2015 Posted 21 May 2015 I think we will sign Huth and another CB this season and loan Moore out for the full term. Then he will come back into the fold, hopefully with a second full season of championship football under his belt. He has all the components to become to a good PL centre back but needs the right help in developing his career, which I'm confident the club will give him.
Tuna Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Loan to MK Dons could be back on http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/03/03/por-mk-dons-eye-loan-move-for-moore/
MANFACE Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Get him on loan. Get his head switched on and the hunger back. He'll be an excellent asset for Leicester.
kyleolly Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 He did ok at the beginning of last season but were we are going Liam Moore will be left behind he's a championship player at best and we're verging on champions league football no time for sympathy to a local lad get rid!
