The Championship - 2015/16 Stuff It In Here

It is actually pretty funny quite how far ahead of them both we are now. Only two years ago we were thinking we'd be battling them both for promotion. The XI we named on Tuesday would definitely beat either of them home and away.

Fixed.

I hate Forest but anyone acting like we wouldn't wank on if we'd won two European cups regardless of when is delusional.

What they achieved in that short spell - from the Second Division to the Division One title and two European Cups - was pretty amazing...but it was 35+ years ago. The new film about it, regardless of who they are, is meant to be very good.

Don't get me me wrong its a greact achivement by Cloughie 35 years ago... but its simply that... 35 years ago, just like most Notts County fans harp on about the oldest team in the league history etc etc

the team hasnt done jack recently and cloughie and his squad have long gone

but MOST forest fans act and behhave like it was last season, which is clinging on for desperation and it cringable sometimes....

QPR always seem to play appallingly in this match. Three times in a row they've conceded 3 goals in the first half at Fulham. Do Fulham just take this game really seriously?

I couldn't think of a club less suited to the Pearson mantra of football management.  He'd be out the door within a year when the foundations he's started building have only just scraped to an unlikely play off spot instead of giving them the instant gratification QPR so famously crave.

There's no reason why he won't go there. He agreed to work under mandaric and the thais. The thais had appointed and sacked sven and wasted loads of money before pearson was appointed. Qpr are looking to go about things properly now. And have got rid of most of the mercenaries. He will probably earn the same at qpr as he did here also. If not more. I can see him going there.

And we were well suited to him after hiring sven. Spending loads of money and then sacking him??

He did spend money with us but certainly looked around for players. Man United youth team, French second division and non-league. Depends how much of that is down to our scouting network though.

Ramsey looks like a man who is struggling with the expectation of the job. But QPR are paying the price for indulging big name managers without a plan for the long term.

The Thais tried the quick-fix approach for a year under Sousa/Sven before learning the lesson that punting a load of money in isn't necessarily the right approach.  If Fernandes & co. have learned that lesson finally too then yeah I'll agree he'd fit in well what with their resources and his management style, but they've persisted with the big money, big name approach for what is it, 4 years now?  Sacking Ramsey before he's even had a full season for his vision (if he has one) to start taking shape would suggest to me that they've learned nothing and Pearson should steer clear.  I realise it's a bit of a logical tautology since I'm basically saying that them approaching Pearson would prove they aren't ready to hire Pearson and let it work but there we go.

I truly wouldn't, it is a good thing to have but I would not rub it into people's faces especially if your current team hasn't done anything for many many years...

My point exactly. Still trying to live off past glories and embarrassing themselves in the process.

Come off it. As said I hate Forest more than is rational but we'd be ****ing bleating like there's no tomorrow if we'd have won two European Cups, the only difference is the current fortune of the clubs.
