The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 September 2015 Posted 9 September 2015 Wow, so edgy. I'm not excusing what he did, but God knows what place his head was at after such a terrible thing. There's nothing edgy about it, it's obviously a traumatic thing to go through. But for it to excuse him taking a Class A drug which should ban him for 2 years is disgusting. He's effectively using his dead child has a shield, which is vile.
AKCJ Posted 9 September 2015 Posted 9 September 2015 Amazed and disgusted that he's gotten away with that.

It was more the way in which you said it. As I said, I'm not excusing what he did, but without knowing the bloke, it's a bit unfair to say he's using the child a shield. He COULD have genuinely been ****ed up and in a messed up place, not just out there getting wasted, thinking 'oh I'll blame it on the child'; which is what you seem to have alluded too. Either way, terrible loss of his, but still a silly thing to do.
Dan Posted 9 September 2015 Posted 9 September 2015 It's a very, very dangerous precedent to set if you allow him to get off with it because of that.

marko Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Reading vs Ipswich is a decent game so far. 2-1 after 13 minutes.
Finnaldo Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Good to finally see a good (non-Leicester) game after a long wait, not surprised it's a Championship game. Premiership's possession football invasion has nullified games so much it's a fvcking sh!tfest every game. Can't choose who I want to win though, my best friend and I like Reading as his mum's from there but I like Old Mick as well. 4-4 draw would do me
Footballwipe Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Decent game but the atmosphere (as usual) is horrific, it's like a youth team game it's that quiet most of the time. The rows upon rows of empty seats behind the goal are so unappealing too.

Danizen Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 What do you expect, it's Reading. It's scenes like that which scared me before our survival run. I was absolutely dreading it.
Dan Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Caught about half hour of it, surprise surprise not seeing a single goal, but it did look a good end to end game. End product was questionable but they were both trying the right things. Atmosphere I agree was absolutely laughable. It's genuinely no louder than youth games at some grounds nowadays. Embarrassing.
Wymsey Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Wouldn't mind Ipswich going up. I have time for McCarthy, one of the nicest personalities around in the game.
SystonFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 It's scenes like that which scared me before our survival run. I was absolutely dreading it. It seemed like most on ft couldn't wait to get back to the champ and playing turgid away ties like reading where the atmosphere is as good as Sunday league football. What a terrible shame. What was the final score?

Funny that isn't it, when we were on our dreadful runs last season people on here were genuinely saying they wanted to be back in the championship again.
Matt Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Chris O'Grady the lone striker for Forest today, the QPR defence must be shitting themselves in fear!
Fox92 Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 tbf, O'Grady does hold the ball up really well. Forest haven't looked too bad so far.
Fox92 Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Should save that, or at least parry it out. 1-0.
lcfcsnow Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Ryan mendes looks too good for the championship
Corky Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Green is a good keeper but will always needlessly give the opposition a chance. Probably the right result in the end.
Dan Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Incredibly one sided game from the little bit I saw.
filbertstreet Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Ryan mendes looks too good for the championship le havre don't half make some good wingers
