Guest ttfn Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Did Spurs seriously overachieve last season in finishing 5th? They look slow, ponderous and the striking situation (one player who can't now score) is a joke. Maybe it's just early season but they aren't exactly bedding in a raft of new signings and taking time to gel. They were very fortunate for a period between October and December where they were routinely being outplayed and winning 2-1 thanks to late Kane/Eriksen magic - us, Villa and Swansea were all games they probably should have lost and ended up winning off the top of my head and I'm sure there were others.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 How did Chelsea not win that? the amount of good chances they got... Defending is shocking from them again.
Corky Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Pardew's won 10 out of 12 away games with Palace in League and Cup since he took charge.
MC Prussian Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Lovren's defending. EDIT: Coutinho's red card. EDIT EDIT: Liverpool.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Nobles red card seems odd, studs weren't really up and contact was minimal
bovril Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Hmm. Maybe a bit harsh but as soon as you leave the ground in the tackle you're walking a tight rope.
jammie82uk Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 never a red At least they will win the appeal on it, thought coutinhos second yellow was harsh as well
Corky Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Is Ruud Gullit for real? Does he not know about the Anfield expansion?
weller54 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Sako looked strong and powerful against Chelsea.. Shame we didn't sign him!
MC Prussian Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Clumsy Clattermole strikes again - what a silly challenge in the own box!
Bayfox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Clumsy Clattermole strikes again - what a silly challenge in the own box! Lee cattermole lol Brilliant
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 No matter how poorly we play, at least we don't have Lee Cattermole in our side. What a car-crash of a player.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Hmm. Maybe a bit harsh but as soon as you leave the ground in the tackle you're walking a tight rope. he's got the ball first and barely made contact by Ings. Referee has been conned by Ings' reaction.
MC Prussian Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 It's a minor miracle Newcastle ended the game against Arsenal with ten men - could've been two or three more sent off! Plain dirty.
jammie82uk Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Was the sending off tackle really any different to the sissoko one where he got a yellow
Swarles Barkley Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Top refereeing by michael oliver. Best ref in the country by miles
Freesolo Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Watched the Man city game on MOTD Sterling scores one goal and has a few shots against Watford and Keown say "Good Signing" . What a complete joke
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Don't know what the commentator is on about, that's definitely on, number 6's back foot is behind everything.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 And that's a penalty as well, Vardy got there first and gets the leg taken. No significant contact from Benalouane though, shoulder to shoulder.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Clumsy as **** from benny. Not really, it's shoulder to shoulder, outmuscled and Wilson goes down easily, partially because he's planted his foot to try and buy a penalty - it's a dive, and the ref did well not to fall for it.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Harry "world class" Kane forgetting you're supposed to kick the ball to score for a bit there. Obvious one season wonder, will be playing for Southend in five years
